Not that I ever doubted you, Rory, but spending decades fact checking Derpy, Vettebigot and ishmael have me hardwired to "Trust but verify", so I checked Google's top stories and whoop there it is!

Swaggart timely demise got quite a bit of Google real estate. The "Top Five Summary" had the "usual suspects": NPR, Washington Post, NBC News, The Advocate (Swaggart was famous for his Vettebigot-esque homophobia) and....

So I went down that particular rabbit hole, seems to have been a pre-written opinion piece about (paraphrasing here) how Jews and Christians treat repentance. It was interesting to read, but a top 5 result? *shrug* It would seem someone somewhere is gaming the Google algorithm. inserting a "soft sell" of Judaism into a hard news cycle.

Anyway, Swaggart's gone to his reward and America is now a kinder more decent place because he's left. His particular brand of hatred paved the way for the likes of the current White House occupant.
