It's a law that came into effect a few years ago. It made a lot of us leave this site as we were censored so much and did not enjoi our rights of freedom. I'm working on finding a way to post some new pics however, so there is hope!

I'm convinced that photo deletion is purely random.
I had a number deleted, and as I clearly posting (what some people decreed was) non-acceptable stuff, I was very definitely in the firing line.
To test this, I posted a typical holiday photo - the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. Yep; it went.
No b*g*er told me why.......
Oh, perhaps it's because it was from the (former) Communist side. Hadn't thought of that.
I've spent a little time checking the volume of postings in some threads; (I MUST get a life) - there's one where the busiest period was in 2006 with 230 PAGES filled in 39 days. That's one post every 10 minutes, all day every day; since then, on that particular thread you're lucky (lucky?, haha) to get one post a week.
Conclusion: Lit is past its best-by date, and members just ain't interested any more.
Do the owners/managers know? Do they care?
Any thoughts anybody?

Thanks for sharing! I'm of the same thought, but since I'm in the process of merging my past with my present I thought I'd scope it out over here again. I did successful post a couple of pics yesterday here on my other thread...but I'm not so sure I like the way I have to do it. I'm one of those who used to post all the time and have many views, comments and postings, but when the law changed, I was among the many that left such a great site and community.
I do not know if I will stay here or not yet. That is yet to be determined.....
