All Rise! Oyez, oyez, oyez! The court of the Honorable Judge Jenny is now in session. Plaintiffs are advised to draw nigh and cringingly suggest that they might be entitled to relief.
This thread is posted, despite warnings by Cloudy, following Judge Jenny's issuance of an order that Pen_Dragon forward her 25 dollars in certified funds for being the 10,000th person to ask a question about the percentage of Lit readers who vote. It seems to me that Judge Jenny has issued similar fines in the past. I can't possibly go through all of Judge Jenny's earlier opinions at this point (24 a day?), though, so if you have been fined, you are honor-bound to report it to this court. Since we have potential plaintiffs all over the world, we are establishing a new currency, LitDollars.
The judgments of Judge Jenny are final and of absolutely no precedential value whatsoever (the same value that Supreme Court opinions have to Clarence Thomas).
A court clerk shall be appointed for a three month period, and may thereafter be reappointed or replaced as Judge Jenny sees fit. He/she shall have the power to issue administrative fines for procedural gaffes (such as the improper use of ellipses...). As of today, the court clerk's office reports the following:
Treasury + 50 LitDollars
Pen_Dragon - 25 LitDollars
FatDino - 25 LitDollars (clerk's fine on appeal to Judge Jenny)
Figaro, BarbarouSevil
Court Clerk
BTW, I am a new author here at Lit. I have submitted a story to the editors, but it has not yet been posted. Does anybody have any idea how long that takes?
