Judge Rules Trans Athlete Can Play in Conference Tournament & Post Season

You implied that I had contradicted myself with the question I posed. I said No, I have not contradicted myself. Nothing I said changes my assertion that people are not born gay or straight. That's addressing your question be saying it's a false assumption and false attribution. You have not addressed my question.
It does contradict your position and you haven’t asked a question.

Yes, i see that it went over both your (pin) heads.

I’ll use small words:
- i say penis = Male
- the APA has a well-reasoned reply to that
- well-put but i disagree
- your responses are quite binary
- so i am laughing at you
Do you laugh at your own jokes? Loudly? In the fervent hope that others will just join!?

They’re not. You need to accept that your jokes make little sense.

This is up to the women in sports, not a place for us men to be "mansplaining" to them how to save their sports, these stunning and brave women will save their sports.......someday........some year.......some decade........cough cough.
Is it up to them?

All I've seen is months upon months of blaming the victim...

Do you believe trans individuals exist
Yes
(are born that way)???
No
Do you believe gay individuals exist
Yes
(are born that way)???
No
If so, what are your solutions to accommodating their rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness???
Same as anyone. The issue arises when the rights or protections that want or claim start interfering with other people's rights, which happens with all kinds of people and protected groups.
A straight man advocating for the protections and accommodations (to a reasonable extent) for trans and gay individuals (who were born that way) is perfectly consistent with basic fairness and morality (not to mention being consistent with the constitution), and does NOT require them to be attracted to them or date them.
I'm not saying straights should be required to date anyone. However, if one argues that Trans Women are women, that believing you're a woman entitles you to all women's spaces, such as prisons, then you should be open to dating them. They're women, after all, according to you. Unless it's a case of "Ho no, they count as women when actual biological females have to accommodate them into their spaces, but don't ask me to."

I see a huge potential for back sliding on women’s rights if trans and gay rights are rolled back. (and don’t think they’re isn’t a huge contingent of "men" who would like to see women’s rights rolled back - See: The overturning of Roe, etc).
What you don't seem to see is Trans "rights" are conflicting in many instances with women's rights. The backsliding is already occurring.

Also, if you apply trans logic, then gay as a category ceases to exist, which I would call a backsliding on gay rights.

It does contradict your position and you haven’t asked a question.
No, it doesn't.

The question is how many of you straighteys would include and treat trans women exactly as biological women when it comes to dating, sex, relationships, etc. Or is it a case of Trans for Thee, but not for me.

The athletes have have to date the trans athletes??

Do intersex individuals exist (are intersex individuals born that way)??? Obviously they are, so is it impossible to believe that individuals are born trans or gay???

🤔

Same as anyone. The issue arises when the rights or protections that want or claim start interfering with other people's rights, which happens with all kinds of people and protected groups.

Please be specific about your solution. The solution is actually where the battle has been joined.

This ^ brings us back to: “what is your solution?”. Is your solution that "normal men and women" should be required to date trans women and trans men???

🤔

What you don't seem to see is Trans "rights" are conflicting in many instances with women's rights. The backsliding is already occurring.

I see very little backsliding related to trans women in "normal" women’s spaces - especially considering all the anti-trans / trans limiting laws and rules that have been passed. (See: The House of Representatives rule on trans individuals’ bathroom use, etc.)

Side question: Is a trans woman or a gay man using a "normal men’s room" causing a backsliding of "normal" men’s rights???

🤔

Also, if you apply trans logic, then gay as a category ceases to exist, which I would call a backsliding on gay rights.

The human mind / psyche is at least as varied as the human body (which is infinitely varied), so there is room for trans and gay to exist as separate identities (even though they exist under the LGBTQIA+ banner)

It seems that there is a push to recognize/ prioritize ONLY the rights and feelings of "normal men and women" based on "importance to society"- which invariably leads us back to "normal men" pushing to be recognized / prioritized as being of THE MOST "importance to society", and thus entitled to rights that all other groups are denied. Being President of the United States already seems to be one of those rights that only "normal men" are entitled to.)

So what is the solution???

🤔

Trump has said he wouldn’t allow trans athletes to play. This court says Trump is wrong.

“It is impossible to discriminate against a person for being homosexual or transgender without discriminating against that individual based on sex,” Crews wrote, quoting U.S. Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch’s opinion in 2020.

Who appoints the does not dictate whether the ruling is valid

As usual you are wrong , BOT. Joe and the boys have pictures
If they are a judge, elected or appointed to the position, their rulings are valid.

Your argument is invalid.

Whether you agree with their ruling, or the person who appointed them, is irrelevant.

Again, the judge based his ruling on an opinion Gorsuch wrote. If you don’t like what Gorsuch ruled, bring it up with the guy who appointed him.

People can believe what they want. Also, humans are attracted to all KINDS of things, like having a fetish for lingerie, or dressing up like a girl. I simply do not believe that nature or God looked into their crystal ball and said, OK, I see in your future . . .black silk stockings . . . a big titted redhead . . . it's stupid. You become attracted to whatever you do in the course of life. in the end it doesn't matter. I personally don't believe you are "born" either way, but in the end your sexuality is fixed and operates as if it were aways there. The point is irrelevant.

I agree with Nancy Mace. Get the fuck out of our spaces. You can't change sex, you're not women, and women have a right to their own space. Sex-based rights > Gender identity ideology.

No, not "required". But they are then transphobes and hypocrites by their own definition. I reserve the right to call them so.

Women had to fight for the right to have their own bathrooms in the early 20th century because of so much rape and assault in the communal bathrooms. Yes, it is a backsliding.

We’ll have to agree to disagree on the “born that way” element of the debate:

Here’s a good read on the science of it:

https://www.plannedparenthood.org/l...esearch shows that sexual,“turn” a person gay.

From the article:

“Sexual orientation is a natural part of who you are — it’s not a choice. Your sexual orientation can change over your lifetime.

It’s not completely known why someone might be lesbian, gay, straight, or bisexual. But research shows that sexual orientation is likely caused partly by biological factors that start before birth.”

😑

Also:

You STILL have presented no solution for how to protect / accommodate the rights and freedoms of trans individuals.

😑

Gender identity is a protected characteristic. You can't fire someone for being trans, etc.

Obviously they have basic human rights, but does that extend to things like demanding to be put into women's prisons or play in women's sports?

It's an ongoing debate being pursued in courts right now all over the world. Look up the case of Jessica Yaniv.

Jessica Yaniv, is a Canadian transgender activist in British Columbia who is best known for filing at least 15 complaints of discrimination on the basis of gender identity against various beauty salons after they refused to wax her male genitalia

I don't think Yaniv should have been "accommodated;" he obviously thought he should. Depends on what rights are being claimed and how that affects others.
