Jungle Girl

This one that I've had in my head for a few years and now I am thinking of writing it.

Mainly it's about a girl that was raised in the forest with no human interaction. One day she gets captured by some men and put into a slave auction. A young man buys her, but nobody thinks she can be tamed due to the fact that she is very wild and ferocious. He has her wear a shock collar and basically trains her to behave. Once she does they fall in love and blah blah blah.

You immediately remind me of Jungle Girl comics, ranging from the pretty tame stuff from the 1930s to more modern XXX Jungle Fantasy and Jungle Babe comix. Vast libraries of these exist, some set in ancient days with dinosaurs, others in fairly contemporary settings, and of course such as Cavewoman, blending both.

The jungle supergal, clad in little or nothing, overcomes beasts, variously interacts with outsiders, and eventually prevails... unless grabbed by tentacle monsters. Her backstory can be vivid -- she may be from a lost tribe, or an outsider child lost in the jungle and raised by beasts, or her rich outsider family moved to the wild, or she's an adventurer, or she's unexplained. Or she's a catwoman like Trina Robbins' Pantha.

Your question is, how does she variously interact with outsiders? As you said, she may be captured; or she frees captives or otherwise foils the schemes of evildoers. She may call upon her animal partners to help her. She may appear to submit to captors, being used sexually, guiding them to their desired treasure -- but she then outwits and/or out-fights them.

I don't recall many where a feral girl falls in love with an outsider after being enslaved. Maybe he thinks he has tamed her -- and the 'taming' must involve civilizing her somewhat, teaching her how to communicate and interact with others -- but she was born free and never accepts confinement with humankind,

Your story's ending could be that after being 'tamed' in the city, she encounters a similarly-tamed feral jungle slave-boy., maybe owned by a wicked woman. They escape back to the wilderness somehow. Cue the happy-ever-after.

In one of Alan Moore's TOMORROW STORIES comix, the masked heroine Cobweb and her lover / girl Friday are out adventuring and are captured by a band of jungle girls who are the Lost Housewives of New Jersey. Their dialect is almost incomprehensible. Flip that to two GMs captured by lusty val-gal Tarzanettes who introduce them to heterosex.

We have many jungles to choose from: central Africa, Yucatan, Amazon, Indochina, northern India, Borneo. Papua New Guinea's Bangagong Valley where cannabis grows 50 feet high. A lost world atop a tepuy in Guyana whose main edible plants are stimulants and aphrodisiacs. Yes, many jungles, many types of jungle girls.
