do you get all four days off?

I do :D But will most likely work from home, but on a on-off schedule, in between more relaxing fun things ;)

I will take that to mean... in between football games ;) that is good that you don't have to go in on Friday.

Of all the weird things, I have a drs appt on Saturday after 4pm!!!!!! It is for an mri but still.... I thought I wouldn't be able to get in on the Friday, never occurred to me to assume an office would be open on SAT. lol

Friday after Thanksgiving I always stay home. I have no desire to come between any shopper and a mall. :)

nodding.. I don't do Christmas shopping any more really... I just hit the big racks of gift certificate cards at the grocery store on the day that I am seeing someone.. not a lot of wrapping required, something for everyone, and little to no effort. :) my idea of shopping..

I don't mind the appt so much, as it has a purpose, I am still messing with the pinched nerve I have had since July.. I would like them to find out exactly what the problem is and solve it. And since it is really hard to make it to appts afterschool in traffic, Sat is fine. just surprised me that anyone would be open that late on a Sat or open at all.

I will probably try to get my hair cut also, all the curl came out and now it is in my face and that makes me very very very irritable especially when it is HOT and it was in the high 80s again.. sigh.

wow you were this close to me? I hoped you waved in a westerly direction :) I am about two hours from there, except on holidays lol

Traveling for the job!!!! That is something new too. :)

I don't want that wind you guys get, but I could handle sixties weather in the day, well if they ever fix my heater in the classroom I would like it, I like cool crisp weather.. but I want to be warm indoors. Right now we keep sweaters and jackets in the class, come to school in short sleeves, put on the jackets until the chill of the room is gone, then take them off for the 80+ degrees and wish for a/c. I can't believe that they still haven't fixed the brand new a/c-heater that I reported in June. Even for LA Unified this is slow. I am probably going to have to have a parent complain to the local district to get anything accomplished..

okay.... that isn't too bad, but I would have a hard time at home. The heater at home is not that great either so I would be very very cold at home. lol I think 60-72 days and 50-60 nights is good. :) when I am working, at home I like it 68-72. days and 65-68 nights.. I have a very short span of degrees at home since my bones and joints are old. lol but I would like to live where it snowed a little bit but my house was snug and warm :)

won't ruin his fantasy by pointing out that after Jan it gets even colder for several months... shhhhhhh

Spring break is not good time to travel south, too many college kids LOL perhaps Tahiti???

I would love to take one of the really small boat cruises but they charge two arms and two legs and have stairs you have to go up and down a lot.. so.. I will take a larger one and wish I was on a smaller one LOL My problem is I want to also go on some of the land tours and suddenly the ticket price goes up astronomically. My wants are much bigger than my pocketbook :) lol
