...I guess there's nothing else in the world to talk about.![]()

Oh man, I love Depeche Mode!
I use to walk around the house, way back in the 80s, with my walkman on listening to them. lol I'd dance around the house doing laundry and making dinner. Sorta funny to think back on... doesn't seem like it was all that long ago.

jtmalone70 said:Oh man, you wanna know something? I'm an actual editor by profession, and I still screw up certain words on a regular basis, particularly those with an "ie" in them. lol I dunno why! I guess, in the back of my mind, I'm thinking, "Ok, 'I before E, except after C'", but then that's not always the case, either. <-for example
Anyway, you probably can't tell, but I usually go over my posts looking for errors and make spot corrections. I'll even go back and look at posts from days before and fix any errors I see! Not that it matters, but it's just this habit I've gotten myself into over the years.
But, believe me, I don't look at someone's spelling online and think, "Wow, what a dolt!" lol ...because I just KNOW they could do the same thing to ME!
On another note, I slept all of about three hours last night, and now I'm REALLY tired. I wanna go lay down soooo bad. My husband said I could have a can of Mountain Dew this morning, on the stipulation that I actually drank the entire thing in THE morning. Well, I have this bizarre habit of taking little sips of beverages and tiny nibbles of food, and then leave the rest for later. You should see, when my husband and I go out for dinner... before I really started keeping track of his diet, that is.
He would fill his plate with a mountain of food, whereas, if you looked at mine, there'd hardly be anything. And I think I've always taken food home with me, when we go out. And, in THIS house, especially when my sons lived at home and played football, ANY food left untouched for more than 24 hours was fair game and up for grabs... until wrestling season started and they had to make weight.
When my sons come home from school, I'm basically cooking for an army. Myself, my husband, and five kids. And, if they bring their girlfriends and boyfriends, you can increase the headcount by four.
...and people wonder why we have such a huge dining room table. We even have TWO refridgerators! One in the kitchen and one downstairs in the basement - which is finished and serves as a second living room.
As the kids got older, I use to tell my husband, "Write something and sell it! Your children need more food!" lol And he would!
Well, if you ever come to our home, you won't walk away hungry, I can assure you of that. Myself, as well as my daughters, are excellent cooks. My husband can be, too... when he's not in the kitchen or anywhere near cooking utensils and food. lol Besides, I love to cook. I don't see it as "Woman's Work". Although, come to think of it, I have been barefoot and pregnant at the stove more than a few times now!
...speaking of dinner... Now I'm kinda hungry...
Oh... and here's a picture of me after getting oil all over myself in the garage, while helping my husband work on his motorcycles...
