Ah, well! I spent last week in the beautiful state of Colorado - Aurora to be precise - but saw no sign of the equally beautiful JT!

My loss I guess!

...rawr! :catroar: I know a lucky guy who gets to peel these off my gams tonight!

......WOO HOO!!!
Well... how did the peeling go? Was it everything you expected? When shall we expect the full story? lol

No, honestly, how did the party go? Did everyone guess your costumes? We didn't get out this year for Halloween. Did have family over, and had a great time!

Once again, I like many am simply speechless at the beauty you share with us. The patio series is wonderful. I think I will just stop there!

Well, I hope you had a happy Halloween. My youngest Becca, as well as her two sisters and one of their fiances, including myself, all drove into town so that Becca could go trick-or-treating door-to-door. No one other than perhaps one or two kids ever drive all the way out to our house. We're about two miles from town.

Becca made a pretty good haul. We met up with some of her little friends from school, and together we all walked up and down the streets. We did bump into two police officers, one of whom is in my husband's motorcycle club. They were doing a foot patrol thing, and this fella was wearing a little fake nose. ...hehe... And it was a pig's nose, of course! lol No kidding. lol

The police in our town are really great guys. The town isn't very big at all, so there's only, in total, seven officers, I think. My husband knows two of them pretty well - one through his motorcycle club and the other who had a son in Boy Scouts.

And, I should tell you, I have a perfect driving record! :) My husband, on the other hand, yeah, he's been pulled over at least twice that I know of for speeding, but that was quite a few years ago. He was pulled over once, maybe two years ago, by one of his buddies on the police department in town. His friend just wanted to know if he had new tires put on his truck. lol

Our town is pretty small and quiet, so you hardly ever hear of anything going on in the way of crime. Really, the last big thing I can remember is from almost a year ago, when someone was going around breaking into garages. I don't think anyone reported anything as stolen, however. Well, they think it may have been teenagers, because someone had spraypainted a garage door in an alley.

During tourist season in the summer, I think they do pick up a lot of drunk drivers and public intoxication violators. But, like I said, I'm pretty sure most of those are by people not from this area.

Well, I guess I should get going here. I'm kinda tired and my husband got home not long ago. See ya!
Jess,
Nice note. Our trick-or-treating was on Sunday afternoon (3 - 5pm). As we were taking our kids around with some extended family members a local fire dept vehicle pulls up with its red lights flashing. The Fire Chief jumped out with a handful of candy for the kids (and the big kids). Nice gesture by the local authorities. Later on another block a police car cruised through slowly and handed out D.A.R.E. pencils to the kids.
