When I was in high school, I really got into that guy on PBS who had a painting show. I don't recall his name, but he was sorta middle-aged and had a big afro. And he was always saying things like, "...and let's put some clouds up here. Just some happy clouds. See? Don't they look happy?"

Well, my dad bought me some paint and everything I'd need to start wokring on a masterpiece. Of course, I tried and tried and was never very satisfied with the finished product. But, my dad naturally kept saying, "Oh, that looks really nice. Did you do that? Really? Wow."

You know, what parents are supposed to day. I knew they sucked, but he never said anything otherwise.
