but in order to be a patron you need to have a community to benefact

and that always creates desires to participate

and then it might be extremely rewarding for you to take that opportunity

and initiate and educate ;)

I should have kept reading on. I still have my original LP copies of the early Cocteau Twins albums that I bought when they were new. Elizabeth Fraser has the best voice there is.

You've just rocketed into the stratosphere in my esteem, my dear. Beautiful, talented, and good taste, too. It's rough on an old man's heart....

Not to try to divert you from the main topic of your thread (the lovely and talented YOU), but any time you'd care to drop in 2 words about what music you're liking I for one would consider it a real treat. If you ever saw my basement you'd see what a crazed music collector I am.

Well, we're certainly have to figure something out! I love music, and am always looking for recommendations. I know there's a thread or two in the Darkroom Lounge section about music...hmmmmmmmm...maybe we should put stuff on there?

I'm game. I have done, as a matter of fact, a while back. I believe I was listening to Northern Picture Library - a now defunct band that was a sort of shoe-gaze descendent of the Cocteau Twins.
