Just Peachy (Closed for Jadeknight)

Peach looked at him shocked. She hadn't expected him to admit it so casually, and she had been so ready to continue arguing back and forth. The fact that he simply admitted it and then brushed her off was so alien to her and she didn't' know what to do about it. Her mouth opened and closed for a moment, at a loss for words as he walked past her, touching her cheek.

She stood there a few minutes more, her mind racing before she shuffled off again. Peach wasn't sure if there were any other tunnels there, but at least she knew that she wasn't trapped. As she thought about their conversation, she continued her journey deep into the tunnel and was starting to see light. When she drew near, she started seeing greenery. It was a large garden in a sectioned-off part of the castle. There were beautiful plants and flowers, fruits and trees.

Princess Peach saw a little fountain surrounded by a rocking chair and a small bench. She slowly made her way over to the rocking chair and sat in it, breathing in the smell of the garden and sighing, a smile on her face. There was a garden in her own castle, but she had to admit that his was much more beautiful. The plants looked so well-kept and even joyful. As she relaxed, her eyelids drooped and she slowly fell asleep where she sat.

Meanwhile, Bowsette had finished her bath and with annoying that particular servant. She had tasked one of them with getting the cum off of her dress and they were now finished, enabling her to don it once more. She sauntered out and walked through the halls, going to what she imagined was the throne room. Bowsette grinned and sat on the chair, pretending to hold a scepter. "Bow down to me, peasants!" She waved the imaginary scepter and laughed.

He settled back once more, watching the two in his little crystal balls. The garden had always been one of his favorite places to be, his little nature home away from him. It reminded him that it had actually been awhile since he last visiting his former home so many years ago.

He chuckled for a moment seeing how Bowsette was behaving, obviously no stranger to rule herself. Breaking her to a lower status would be interesting as well, a fight in her own way. Both of them would require time for such activities, though Peach might be a little easier.

It wouldn't be much longer till dinner, so he decided to leave Bowsette to be fetched by one of the servants. He went off himself to fetch the princess. He soon foundt her sleeping in the garden, pausing to watch her for a few moments. However, he soon had that come to an end as he laid his hand on her head.

"Time to wake up princess."

Peach felt something heavy on her head and was vaguely aware of someone telling her to wake up. She opened her eyes dreamily and saw him leaning over with his hand rested on top of her golden yellow locks. The princess blinked at him sleepily and didn't move away from him yet. Instead, she turned her head and looked at the garden, sighing. "Your garden is so beautiful. I have one similar in my own castle, but it simply doesn't compare to yours."

She went to stretch her arms but ended up just stretching her shoulders a bit, having forgotten that her arms were still bound behind her. They had also fallen asleep from having her lean against them while she softly napped.

Her blue eyes looked up and him, "Can't I just rest here a bit more? I haven't found this much peace since we arrived." Peach desperately wanted to stay in the garden, loving the sight, smell, even the sound of the water peacefully bubbling in the fountain.

He hmmed quietly for a moment as he thought of her question. She did seem to be coming around in being a little less combative, but that could still be a ruse. He looked down at her and then around at the garden.

"Yes, you can stay a little longer here. This place is peaceful and quite comfortable to be spend time in. Dinner will be ready soon though."

He didn't remove his hand yet, rather he used his claws to lightly caress through her blonde locks gently. It was more of a test to see how she would react to his touch, though he felt she was mostly to pull away from him for now.

He was right. Now a little bit more awake, the movement of his hand caused her to move her head away from him, stopping his gentle petting. She stood up and ducked under his arm, walking a few steps before pausing. The girl bowed her head a little bit saying, "Thank you, that's very generous of you."

She really hadn't expected him to actually allow her to stay, and felt like he at least deserved to be thanked for giving her a little bit more time to stay in the little garden getaway. Peach still didn't like him, her bound arms a constant reminder of this, but she figured being civil would get her what she wanted right now.

"Who tends the garden?" Peach asked, curiously. She couldn't imagine that he let many servants into the secret passageway, and someone had to be taking care of it to let it thrive.

He smirked a little as she ducked away from his hand, but nodded a little as she felt to show a little respect to him.

"You are welcome."

He took a seat on the edge of the fountain as he looked up at the sky for a moment. White clouds rolled slowly by as a gentle breeze came through to caress them and the plants gently. He looked back down at her upon hearing her question.

"I have tended to it from time to time, but there are various spells which work with nature to keep this place healthy. While the soil of this region is fertile, something has to be done to keep the worst of the harmful bugs and plants at bay. Being in a part of nature, away from nature."

"Hm..." She stood there for a few moments facing away from him, her long hair swaying gently in the breeze. Her purple dress continued to contour to her shapely body and made her look regal as she looked out at the garden. Peach had a hard time imagining him tending to the plants, something that required patience and a gentle hand. She didn't doubt him, though, there was no other way the garden would be flourishing as it did without his help magical or otherwise.

Princess Peach was hungry, but didn't want to eat. She fully intended to continue her silent protest by resisting the meal once more.

She started to slowly walk through the garden. While she had come up the garden and seen some of it, she hadn't actually taken the time to explore most of it since she had paused to nap. It almost felt like she was in a dream the way the flowers took her breath away as she continued on borrowed time.

He was silent as he watched her, noting how she continued to carry herself with pride. He stood up from the fountain and strecthed, looking up to the sky once more. He could tell the passage of time by the changing of the colors. He didn't say anything as he looked back back towards her, letting her continue to explore.

He figured out she was trying to run down time without eating, but he was going to play all just a little longer. The sky was turning a purple and gold as the sun reflected off the clouds as it sunk below the horizon.

"Time to go princess."

Having the feeling she would probably ignore him, she called to her a second time as she had gone deeper into the garden. Hearing no answer, he went off in search of her. He foundt shortly, coming up behind her quietly. He reached out to her and picked her up, tossing her over his shoulder.

"Your dinner is probably cold by now."

He grinned as he held her firmly, carrying her back to the dining room.

Peach vaguely noticed the passage of time, but it didn't much matter to her. She heard him call to her once, then twice, but she figured he would simply leave her there if she pretended not to hear him. If she could spend all of her time in the garden, she would gladly take a pillow and blanket and sleep in the garden for the night as well. Lost in thought, she didn't even notice him coming up behind her.

"I can walk, put me down!" Peach wiggled on his shoulder. She couldn't do much more than this without free arms and with such constriction on her legs. "I don't care if it's cold, I don't want to eat!" She continued to wiggle as he went back into the tunnel and carried her past his gold hoard. Once it was clear he intended to carry her all the way, she slumped against him and seethed silently.

Peach pouted like a spoiled child who had been told to eat her vegetables. They exited through the throne room, Bowsette having already been fetched to the table. As they entered the dining room, she looked up from the table with some bread in her mouth.

"Hey! You were takin' so long, I decided to help myself to the food." Bowsette grinned as she saw Peach on his shoulder.

He chuckled for a moment as he saw Bowsette already eating. He shifted Peach from his shoulder before sitting her down in her chair. He waved away the dishes from his place before sitting down in his seat. This time it was a young man was was serving them, and who he directed to feed the princess.

"It's fine pet. Eat all you like."

The dinner was the same as the night before, freshly cooked along with flutes of white wine. He leaned back in his chair as he watched them eat and be forced to eat, making him chuckle.

"I am sure you two have questions for me, so feel free to ask them."

"Oof!" Peach said as she was plopped into her chair. It didn't hurt, it was more the shock of her being suddenly deposited into her place at the table. She gave him a nasty look before eyeing the new server, wondering if he too would try to fight her on her refusal to eat. The answer was yes.

"Hmm... When are you going to make me your queen?" Bowsette asked, stuffing a mushroom into her mouth and chewing while looking up at him.

Peach looked at him dizzily, chewing a bite that had been forced upon her. She wondered how he would respond to that question. It was obvious to her that no matter how much Bowsette fawned over him, he didn't consider her to be an equal. Like Peach, she was also a plaything. A willing one, but a plaything nonetheless.

She also knew that Bowsette would probably not like what he had to say.

He was quiet for a few seconds at he looked at Bowsette. He finally smirked before chuckling.

"Oh, you have as much chance of that as my princess...Barely zero chance. In fact, you might say your status right now is barely that of a servant. No, that won't happen for a very long time, if ever."

"WHAT?!" Bowsette slammed her fork down and stood up. knocking her chair over once again. She pointed an accusatory finger at Peach. "But I'm so much better than she is, we're not even on the same level! I'm totally queen material while she's just a stupid princess; I've even ruled a kingdom myself. Don't you want a strong, sexy woman like me by your side?" She still looked pissed, but he could tell she was really trying to persuade him.

If one had been looking directly at Peach, they may have seem a smug smile momentarily light across her face. She actually willingly accepted the next bite in order to watch how the situation unfolded. Peach found it amusing that this whole time that he had been treating Peach like a pet, Bowsette had been strutting around like she was Queen of the world. Now she was being told that she was just as much a pet as Peach, and she knew that drove her nuts. She felt a little satisfied that Bowsette was being given the reality of the situation.

However, Peach knew if she were to show her amusement, Bowsette would likely be provoked in her agitated state, so she simply chewed her food to hide her expression.

Bowsette continued, "And it's not like you have a queen right now. Why would you want to rule alone in this godforsaken swamp?!"

It amused him at seeing Bowsette trying to convince him that he needed a queen to rule by his side. Though Bowsette claimed to be a queen, he had certainly not taken her with any regards to that fact.

"I can easily rule this 'godforsaken' swamp now by myself as I have for the past three hundred years. Tell me, why should I take a race for my queen that will barely top one hundred years, if you're lucky."

Though he only glanced at Peach, he could tell by the look on her face she was amused at well. He looked back at Bowsette for a moment as he continued.

"Dragons have always ruled with other dragons, though except have been made. However, I have not yet been given one reason or exception why I should change my ways now."

Bowsette frowned and crossed her arms. “I may not live as long as a dragon, but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t be fucking great while you had me. What about delegation? If you wanted to travel or visit other lands, or even conquer other lands, I would be here to rule and keep things going while you were away!” She looked at him and raised an eyebrow.

Peach was surprised that she actually made a coherent argument, but she knew he wouldn’t accept a reason so flimsy.

The princess was surprised at his age, knowing that he was probably older, but not expecting him to have so many years under his belt. Her eyes appraised him, thinking to herself that his body looked like that of a strong young stud. She wondered how long dragons lived; it also occurred to her that if he found someone he wanted, he might be able to prolong their life, not unlike he took care of the garden. Peach didn’t say any of this, though. She certainly didn’t want to be that woman, and she didn’t want to add fuel to Bowsette’s fire.

Peach took another voluntary bite.

He gave a little chuckle as Bowsette continued to rant and give him reasons for needing to choose a queen, but they were clearly just disguised as trying to get herself in the running. They were good reasons, but it wouldn't take much to realize his words of just how long he had been ruling. It was more than obvious that he had means in place for such situations, but it seemed the reasoning had flew over his pet's head.

"Perhaps you should hold your tongue and think for a moment. If I had been ruling, rather successfully at that, for nearly 300 years, then perhaps there's a way I have taken care of things for while I am away. I won't tell you what I did, but believe me, I can leave at anytime, for any length of time, and still be able to rule without a problem."

He smirked for a moment, shaking his head. It almost made him wonder exactly how Bowsette managed to rule an entire kingdom herself if she didn't try to think more about her situation or surroundings.

"Just because it's been working for 300 years doesn't mean it couldn't use improvement!" Bowsette didn't know when to stop, she was simply pissed and wanted to keep going until he changed his mind.

She paused and flicked her hair behind her shoulder, "Well you think I'm hot, don't you? If not a queen, couldn't you at least use a mistress? I am NOT on par with a servant. I have way more to offer and am way more valuable! When I get my magic back, I'll also be able to kick more ass than I already can." she huffed, crossing her arms.

Peach's lips curved a bit at the wrong time and caught Bowsette's eye. "You smug bitch! This is all your fault!" In a fit of rage, Bowsette turned to her and leaped over the table, knocking Peach and her chair backward to the ground. For Peach it was like this happened in slow motion and she was able to let out a small shriek as Bowsette lunged.

He smirked for a moment as Bowsette continued to rant on, almost wondering if he would have to put a gag on her. Peach at least had manners, where as Bowsette was more prideful and acting out now. He really didn't have anything to respond to her yet.

However, once she leaped onto the table and knocked Peach back, he growled deeply. With a roar of rage, he brought his hands down on the table splitting it straight down the middle. He grabbed the remains of the table, flinging everything aside before leaping into the air.

He landed on the ground beside two of them, startling the servant who yelled and ran to hide. His large hand grabbed around Bowsette's neck and jerked her back from Peach. His eyes glowed red as he looked at the woman.

"You test my patience."

With his free hand, his fingers moved intricately as he threw Bowsette into the air. She only got a few feet into the air when the shadows leaped up and wrapped around the woman like a cocoon, suspending her in the air.

As he jerked Bowsette backed, her claws were able to at least give Peach a scratch to her cheek. She cowered just a little bit from his glowing eyes and gave a little yelp as he tossed her into the air, struggling against the shadowy confines of the cocoon.

Peach laid there, unable to do much of anything since she had no means of getting back up. Her chest rose and fell as her heart beat quickly and she recovered from the shock of almost getting the crap beat out of her. Usually she would have been able to defend herself, but she was helpless with the dress and the sleeves. It was good that he had reacted so quickly or things may have turned out worse than just a scratch. A bit of blood dripped from her cheek as she turned her attention to him.

Her breath was shaky for a moment, but she soon regained her composure, looking up at him now with calm blue eyes. "Thank you," was all she said, but she figured that was enough. He didn't need more than that to know that she meant it.

"Oh my, it would seem that my plate was knocked over in the fuss." She gave him a small smile, "I suppose I might simply retire to my room then."

It took him a couple of moments to calm down, but he left Bowsette in her shadow cacoon. A couple of the servants had peeked their head in from the kitchen to see what was going on. He cleared his throat before motioning to them to come in.

"Yes, That will be fine."

He gave a smile to her before nodding to the female servant.

"Go ahead and help the princess to her room. She can be freed of her restraints for the time being."

He looked towards Bowsette for a moment before frowning a little. He didn't stay anything to her, deciding to leave her there till she cooled off. He looked back at the other servant for a moment.

"Get some help and clean this up. I am going to retire as well."

With that, he turned and headed back to the throne room.

Bowsette continued to kick and scratch at her confines, seemingly with an endless supply of energy. Muffled angry screaming could be heard within the cocoon, and it could be assumed that it would be a while until Bowsette finally gave in.

Peach nodded at the servant as they helped her to her feet. She felt the ribbons and ropes loosened on her sleeves until they were able to be pulled off of her. She smiled widely with relief and stretched her arms out in front of herself, looking at them fondly as if seeing them for the first time. Her eyes shifted to his back as he continued back toward his own room. A mischievous smile curled her lips for a moment as she turned from him to go to her own room.

Now that she had her arms back and it was nighttime, it was the perfect time to try and find a way out of the castle. She was grateful for him stepping in and saving her, but she did not owe him her allegiance simply for protecting her from a situation he created at its core.

She was led back to her room, and she thanked the servant and bid them goodnight. As she heard the door close, she also heard the sound of a lock turn in the door. It wasn't unexpected. After all, he had to expect that she would try to get out now that her hands were free. However, she knew this game and was determined to find other ways. Peach opened the window and looked down and then to the sides. There was a roof of another part of the castle a ways below her.

Peach stripped the bedding of her bed and went through the cupboards and drawers to get more fabric. At this point in her life, she was basically a professional at tying knots and making sure that the fabric wouldn't rip from under her. Soon she had a very long cloth rope tied to one of the corners of the bed. She tested it thrice before going to the fireplace and grabbing one of the hooked fire stokers just in case she slipped and needed to grip the tiles.

The princess used a chair to step up to the window (with great difficulty from her dress). She then slid down the rope onto the roof below, extra fabric rope, wrapped around her waist for further descent.

Settled back into the treasure pile, he had decided to shift back into his dragon form for a bit. Being in his humanoid form was fine and all, but it did get stifling from time to time. He had just laid his head down when some movement caught his eye in one of the viewing balls.

He gave a little grin when he noticed that it was Peach, attempting to escape. Of course it wasn't unexpected at this point in time. It had been awhile since he got to play cat and mouse and she gave him the perfect opportunity to so. He batted the crystal ball aside as he turned and breathed on the back wall of the dungeoun. There was a soft rumbkling as the wall parted open, giving way to a large landing on the river beside the castle.

He lifted his head into the air for a moment, sniffing at the air. It took him a few moments to catch the mixture of her scent and the blood he used to mark her collar. Without a sound, he leaped into the air with a mighty leap. His shadow passed over the town as he rose up in front of the moon before leveling off in a wide circle above the town.

The Princess was very careful as she walked on the rooftop of part of the castle. The breeze ruffled her hair and she looked up at the moon- it was beautiful tonight. She noticed movement in the sky and saw his huge dragon form leveling out over the town.

Peach had been hoping she would get a head start on him, but shook her head. It would seem that he kept a closer eye on them somehow. Her eyes scanned the swamp. Based on how he had tracked them down before, she imagined he had a good sense of smell and sight. The only way she was going to get beyond the castle walls was if she went straight into the swampy land and covered herself in mud, hopefully masking her scent.

She used her fabric rope to lower herself to the soft ground. Since she had exited her window, she had traveled pretty far and skillfully climbed, slid, and lowered herself until she had reached her destination. As low to the ground as she could, she closed her eyes lowered herself into the swamp, covering herself. With great difficulty, she came out of the sticky mud and crept forward, ducking down and holding still every time she saw him circling. The mud would also help to conceal her form from him.

The princess had reached the woods, and she ducked under the cover of the cover of the trees. Every time she heard him draw near, she would duck and freeze once more. Even though the trees shielded her, she imagined that his hearing was excellent as well.

Though she was able to mask her scent a bit, he still had other tricks up his sleeve without tipping her off yet. Giving away his hand too soon would have taken his fun away.

Deciding to see how long she would actually go for, he continued to circle. He varied his pattern to make it seem as if he wasn't quite certain of where she was. On occasion he would fly over her, but would make no motion of showing he knew she was there.

However, he wasn't going to be the only trouble she was going to have to look out for. Though many creatures were silent at his passage, others were simply more cautious and used him as their beckon to see what he was after.

It wasn't long before a small pack of wolves were joining the hunt, though they were hoping to catch his 'dinner' first. They howled from time to time, trying to anticipate where he would be going.

Peach smiled to herself, her mud-bath seemed to work at throwing him off of her scent, hearing him flying in different directions to see if he could spot her running away under the light of the moon. As if she would be foolish enough to go to the town. On one hand they probably wouldn't help her and instead try to capture her or alert him of her presence; on the other hand if she did find help, she would end up dooming them with his wrath if he discovered her. For her sake and the sake of the villagers, it was better for her to go through the forest.

Now that she felt fairly safe within the forest, she focused on her new dilemma: Wolves. She could hear them howling around her, searching for something. Peach very much hoped that it wasn't her that they were looking for.

She continued on until she walked past a tree and made eye contact with a wolf. Peach froze as it saw her and started to growl, letting out an ear-splitting howl. The princess could hear responding howls in the distance. Though it called to the pack, it sized her up and determined it didn't need to wait. Princess peach was knocked over by the wolf and she kicked it, resulting in it snarling and ripping at her dress. This was a bit of a blessing as her legs were scraped and bleeding, but free from her confines.

A few more wolves showed up and circled. After a few minutes of getting closer, they all lunged at her. Peach cowered and threw her hands up- A large ball of blue fire erupted from her like a grenade blast, knocking the wolves back and stunning them for a few minutes. She looked at her hands, stunned and tried to summon magic once more, but to no avail. Whatever had responded was now something she couldn't willingly summon.

Instead, given the time, she climbed nimbly up a tree and sat in the branches, watching more and more wolves start to gather below her.
