I haven't gotten into the French wines yet.. make a suggestion and I'll go look for one ... I love a good chardonay too ;)

i cant help out on the good french reds as they make me very ill:eek:

but white....pinot grigio is a good bet ! ( and not always loads of cash)

I think a night with alone with Red would be heaven... and then take it from there.... Never the greedy one am I :catroar:

Only thing I could recommend is to spend money... don't go for the really cheap stuff... it just ain't worth it... depends what you really like... but best start with a good Bordeaux... can't go wrong with a decent Claret... maybe start with a Chateau Relais de la Poste or Chateau Lacombe Noaillac... but watch out... some of the better ones can go for around $ 200 or more per bottle... it ain't cheap... but it is good :D
