I really haven't quite found an honest groove for writing Star. I like him, but I like him as a creation. I haven't really learned to inhabit his skin so much. Unlike Benjamin Kirby Tennyson where. . .yeah if I hadn't been told on multiple occasions that nobody likes to come back to three pages of stuff that doesn't involve them I could practically just hang out as Ben.

Sorry, I know I've been slacking. I'm writing my post right now. Spent the weekend out of town and then the last two days have been hell with the Tropical Storm that hit near us. Damn near flooded the area. A bunch of people called off work and I ended up doing a twelve-hour shift to help out. I'm also cross-training in our sales department next week in preparation for our Fourth of July sale. For the past six months I've been working in Furniture & Bedding Customer Service, dealing with warranty and delivery issues primarily after the sale has been placed, but after next week I will also be qualified for Macy's Home Direct, the department that actually facilitates the online sales and phone orders of furniture and mattresses. It's going to be weird during the training because for a week I won't be working from my desk, but from a classroom. Anyway, back to writing!

Actually, I'm assuming from the lack of a description of her face or hair or anything that their helmets are sealed and either opaque or reflective so details cannot be made out. But if that's not the case, Jeff, just give me a holler and I will alter that post.

Yeah, their faces are concealed by the helmets being that they are filtering out the toxins from the air. The female commander referred to them as environmental suits. Though, I haven't read the newest posts yet. And I never had Beast Boy actually turn into a bug, they were discussing the plan while they were sitting on the roof of the facility when the Resistance fighters stormed the roof and breached the vessel. The entire team was inside the ship when they entered, and that's why they ran to get their spacesuits, to protect themselves from the outside air when the hatch was opened.

I thought the ship had a field of some sort that protected everyone within its immediate vicinity from whatever's in the air. Everyone who went out of the ship to the beach (and had not actually returned as far as I know) was in the usual clothes--some even less--not any sort of suit.

It's buried in his post but there is a part where we all changed back because we didn't trust the invader to use air filtration or something like it. I very nearly missed it the first time(s) through myself.

When it flight that capability is disabled and they never re-enabled it on the roof. At that point, they were all inside the ship preparing their mission.

Oh, and I finally got my new power supply and successfully installed it in my gaming rig. Finally up and running again.

We already ate it, then left the island. Then we went to some lab or something looking for old tech so we could go home. Then (I assume it's Blackfire) and her goons busted into our ship. We managed to put our suits on just in time so the gas doesn't fuck us up. And now we're having a stand off. It was all in the really long post from a few days ago. Read don't skim lol
