Justice League: The New Wave (OOC - Interest Check)

She was decent in Broadchurch. Which is watchable itself. We'll have to see. Male writers tend not to be very good at writing for women.

Chris Chibnall is the new showrunner for Who, and he masterminded Broadchurch.

Jodie is lovely and expressive and brilliant.

This is going to be off every hook.

But seriously I was working that Sunday when the trailer came down and my boss and I had just been talking about who the new Doctor might be and he wasn't sure he approved of the idea that it would be a woman.

And then I watched it and I could barely contain myself and keep my enthusiasm to work appropriate levels.

And I deadpanned to my boss "Well the good news is, at least she's cute."

Seriously though it's been 54 years, it's about damn time.

The show at its core is about equality, and this is money where their mouth is.

If something ever happens to my Doctor from Earth-14, I know who she's going to "reincarnate" as next.

This will probably get me excommunicated, but I've never watched an episode of doctor who...

Nobody expects the Varshish Inquisition.

Var, out of curiosity, do you still have a picture of The Malar anywhere?

LDoK!Zatanna's shapeshifting demon-pet?

You know, I'm not saying that a female doctor is a bad thing. I'm just saying that historically, men screw it up. Look at Captain Janeway.

well doesn't that kinda suck.

when I posted the link/image it showed just fine. now all my images are grey pics :( I hate photobucket now.

yeah something how they coded it now. Some of my stuff was showing the grey pic, and some were normal. Then they all clear up and the next time i look they're all grey.

It's freaking annoying.

This is what I've been saying.

In order to hotlink images now you need their most expensive premium plan which costs $40 a month paid in one easy payment of $400 all at once.

Considering I use less than 2% of the storage space they give you for free, paying $400 for some ridiculous upgrade to that storage THAT I WILL NEVER USE just so I can properly see almost TEN YEARS of hotlinks is fucking highway robbery.

So at Kim's kind suggestion I've been painstakingly going through old posts and editing the photobucket links to imgur, having redownloaded every picture and reuploaded it to imgur for the purpose. Because screw photobucket.

It's been a long-ass process and my eyes are killing me and ugh.

On the bright side, I've gotten to reread almost every single post in the original LDoK OOC and that has been a fun walk down memory lane.

I love you guys.

And the Jennifer Garner Elektra.

And the Halle Berry Catwoman.

But I think we ladies are done settling for less in our characterizations, and Wonder Woman has proven that.

I'm looking forward to two new lady captains on "Star Trek: Discovery."

I'm looking forward to the future.

*pouts* I still haven't seen WW. Probably wont see Discovery, though I want to. You should check out a show called 'Killjoys' on SyFy. STRONG female lead, and very very sexy also.

Chall

In Challengers, are we all assumed to be outside?

The area is a featureless barren plane? Is it all ash? Or just hard earth?

Either outside or visible through The TARDIS doors.

It's a layer of brownish sand over packed hardpan.

I had not heard of this!

I'm going to check it out!

"Discovery" and "Elementary" are the only reasons I have the CBS All Access thingy, after "Supergirl" moved to The CW, and "Person of Interest" got cancelled, and they axed "Drew" at the pilot stage.

Also one of my roommates' girlfriend likes to watch American football, so it's handy for that.

Definitely gonna check out Killjoys, thanks for the rec!

Any time. And just to get back on topic, I am going to assume Braggock took the lady up on her offer of a ride. I can't see any better way than a flash forward. Can we do a tour and orientation?

I was curious how Braggock reacted to seeing Meggan become something/someone like him, but certainly no pressure if you're not feeling inspired in that regard!

We can definitely do a tour, those are fun!
