i NEVER (never say never) work overtime.....this week i will be just to get things on schedule again............and no i am not happy about it

i would rather say 'fuck you all, leave me alone' but i know it does not matter to any of them that i am stressed out and over worked.....they have all had vacations this summer..........i don't get mine for another month.......and yeah i am not happy

not to mention the asshole i have for a boss

i am sure you are a nice guy as far as a boss is concerned, you are at least american! my boss is not and refuses to take any american customs. he does not even speak clear english (and don't get me started on his writing). he is beyond cheap and thinks a bandaid works better then a cast to fix anything broken. i sit and watch buildings falling apart and he does not care. if i do my job he is looking over my shoulder to make sure i don't spend to much money. if it looks good when it is finished then i HAD to spend to much and he wants a full accounting.............and i could go on...........

as for the vacation, yes i had planned a trip but that is shot now. looks like the best i will get is an over night in KC with my kids...........*sigh*

i like my job and most of the people who work there. i am good at what i do and i understand budgets. i just don't like the fact my boss has no idea what i am doing and does not care to know. if i am not sitting in my chair looking at my computer screen all day (including lunch) then i can not possibly be working, so he needs to give me more to do. right now i am so fricken busy with the work HE thinks i need to do, the work I DO need to do and the work that OTHERS think i need to do................i don't know what to do first............ how is that for confusing!!!!!

Sounds typical. Most people have no idea of what the people working for them do. And then they want to meddle in what they are doing. I bet he does not want to hire anyone to help you, as you have to much time on your hands now.

I do not do that. I tell them what I want, and then I get out of their way to let them do it. Yes, I do watch how much money is being spent. However, if they can justifiy it, I let them alone.

There are a lot of fun things to do in KC. See a Royals game (they will lose though). Go to Worlds of Fun, all sorts of things. I am sur eyou and your family will enjoy yourselves in whatever you do.

I agree with going just to enjoy yourself. I do not get to go to the Royals games much, but I do go to the Wranglers (Royals AA Wichita) games a lot.

There is nothing wrong with keeping them guessing. I heard somewhere that it takes less muscles to smile than it does to frown.

Maybe that is why I try to smile all the time. I do not always succeed, but I try.

What lake did you go to? Glad you enjoyed yourself.

Why would this be the last time we can talk till I get back? I have satellite internet in the RV and a laptop. Good as gold.
