Kansas

South Central Kansas, near the kansas/Oklahoma border is my neck of the woods. Still looking for a very discreet meeting with someone who wants to play. Live in Ark City, Work in Wichita

Lol, so many Kansas, well I'm impressed. I had to use the search function to find this thread, wasn't expecting to find anything, hehe. Well, I'll put my self on the "from Lawrence List". Used to go to school in Manhattan. Nice to meet folk here from KS! ;)

Hi From Overland park......

It's nice to see a new face from Lawrence join the Board.... Rock Chalk Jayhawk...... Go KU.....

I know that you must be a big KU fan.................

Lawrence here! Go Hawks!

It seems that the Bible belt is full of naughty fun people!

Yea!!

:D

I resemble that Remark!

SubSarah,

I think I resemble that remark......................

Hey - the game will be starting soon.

All Hawk fans have Max and Bob on the radio???

Wow, Kansans! My wife and I are here in Manhattan. And for those of you who think there's no fun to be had in the breadbasket, well, we've had some interesting times with our college friends. And we do so enjoy corrupting the innocent. There are some good stories to tell, if you ask nice. ;-)
So if you're in the NE KS area, drop us a line! We go to Topeka and Lawrence al the time.

Ed

(hey, that was my first ever post here. yay.)

Hello. What's the protocol - should I just write my story on the msg board, or post it to Lit as usual, and let y'all know when it comes up?

Ed

and who said kansas was a boring state.........keep posting!!! :D

Hello again. Good to see so many Kansans around. My wife and I were thinking it would be cool to meet some like-minded people (nudge nudge, wink wink) in the Manhattan or Topeka area. We're a young (mid-20s) couple, we really like music, hockey, and camping, and my wife is vegan. We'd love to hang out with a fun, friendly, interesting girl, or couple, roughly our age, with some of the same interestes (ie, what with my wife being vegan, she's probably not going to have much to say to a cattle rancher). We're looking for pretty laid back, fun people to get to know. And we *might* *possibly* *maybe* be interested in hanging out with a single guy, if you're especially interesting (I say this cringing in anticipation of the total sausage-fest that is bound to ensue whenever anyone anywhere asks for single guys).
So anyhow, if you think you fit the bill, or just want to get to know us better, drop me a PM. Hey, we might even send pictures...we've been on VW!

From Sunflowers to Huskers and Back Again

Hi, isn't there an old song that goes something like: "I was born in Kansas, I was bred in Kansas..."? It just popped into my mind as I was reading these KS posts. Oh well, never mind, it's probably too old...grin. Hell, I"M probably too old!

Well, that last line's not true, BUT, the rest is. I come from way out west in Kansas. Ya know, I think that's ANOTHER old song. Ok, sorry, my mind is running along strange roads this morning.

I'm actually packing (or supposed to be, but you can see what I'm really doing right now) to drive to KS today. I'm staying in Salina tonight, and may stay there on my way back. It's about 400 miles from Lincoln to my small hometown and sometimes I drive it straight thru and sometimes I stop in Salina or Hays.

I'd love to have coffee with a Salina, or nearby, Lit sometime when I'm staying there. I suppose it's too much to ask for there to be any Lits near Dodge...grin.

I live in Lincoln, NE now, but I grew up (sorta) near Dodge, have lived in Pittsburg, Hutch, Garden City and Hays.

Bye for now...I've GOT to get packing! TTYL!

welcome to lit greedy..........hope you stay around a while :)

Wow! A reply already!!

Thanks, Mayi, for the welcoming reply. As you can see, I'm still avoiding that suitcase...grin.

I've been around Lit longer than it shows. I was here with another name a couple of years back. Did a lot of RPG and had a ball. That's where I learned how to really let go and write from my gut. Well, maybe "gut" isn't exactly where I was writing from.

Anyway, I've returned and am glad to be here. Thanks again. I HAVE to stop this and throw stuff into that suitcase. My husband keeps asking me when I'm going to get started. Hmmm, I wonder why he's so eager...I'll just have to ask him, I suppose...grin.

I'm from some small town NE over the rainbow. Clicked my ruby slippers but never left. Nice to see there are others here too. Privacy is a must but Maverick it could be fun with earned trust. Email fantasies can go along way..:rose:

First post and not sure I am doing this correctly. New to Lit and KS. Only here for a few months. Living in Hays. Profile on Yahoo under same name.
