The weather has been way to hot.....I have moved out to the boonies. I saw a deer!!!!!!

you aren't on the other side o' the mountains, are you?... north?... south?... i've done the living out in b.f.e. before... nice for weekends and when you want to be alone... horrible for culture or evening activities... (and the rednecks!)

actually, i don't live too far from the freeway and a deer was foraging in the back yard early one morning last year...

I am still on the west side of the Cascades...though I am a lot closer than I use to be......I will give you the initials, and you can see if you can guess.....BD??? Its about 15 miles to a real store.....and lots of peeps....with off terrain vehicles....* lol* i think that is what they are called......I am like the city girl...lost in the wilderness....but beyond that....I like it.....

well, i'm glad you like it in dark jewel... a former manager used to live there and commute into seattle each day (this is assuming that i am correct in ascertaining your general locale)... well, most days... haven't been out there since he threw a part about three years ago... you're not as far out as i thought you might be...

do you think you'll visit the mountian this summer now that you're close(er)?... i'm planning on making the trip, but i'm not exactly certain when... probably mid-july...

The dark jewel......I like that descrption....I know its not that far from civilazation..(spelling).....but it seems like it. I don't know I haven't been there in years, but why not....I assume we are talking about that large 15,000 foot white hill the dominates the skyline.
