Knothic Towers OOC & IC

M. Jenkinslavikca

Finding the right spot was fairly easy once the Captain chose it.

My eyes watched the every wisp of wind that stirred the leaves or dust. The terrain was changing and so was the need to camp.

I found the civilian more agreeable as we moved on and even when we set stakes.. he was making it harder to keep my secret.

Finally on top of a grassy gnoll they stopped to camp. The site of the camp was in a position that was strategic and easily defensible if the need arose. It was almost hard to believe that the first day of the expedition was drawing to a close as the wind picked up and grew chillier. That would suit the environment, frosty, so much unlike the safety of the dome.

As Landi rested against a rock, the Captain, Jenkinslavikca and himself set the stakes in the ground and set up the four poly-fibre wind resistant tents (well he hoped they were). He looked at Jenkinslavikca and as they finished setting up, he realised his first impression of her was wrong and Xurgen was surprised at her willingness to help. However he could sense she was hiding something.

"Ok, Landi, let's get you lying down. You've been through alot. Doctor's orders," he winked, jokingly. "Captain, we are all set up, I will take first watch if you like?"

Xavier waited for Capt Oates response.

Landi chuckles but tries to help at least a tiny bit. Her features seem more at rest, much like being in one's true element.

She moved into the one tent and laid down after uttering thanks to the Spirits of her ancestors... then to the ones that remained in her heart.

She laid on the warming unit and slept peacefully, gazing at the data about the plant and decided to make a few updates on the creature for future reference.

She could hear Xavier offer first watch and smiled.
