I doubt that Clinton had much to do with their release. I'm sure it's been being worked on for the last five months. Clinton probably caught the tail end if the deal. That,s not to belittle Bill's ability as a negotiator - he should have had Hillery's job. Not practical of course, but he would have been much better at it.
