There are some threads about describing sex in the Author's Hangout and lot's of very good female authors there who are good at putting things into words.

The Editor's forum also has some good discussions on description of feelings along.

The Story Discussion is filled with samples of descriptions, links to complete stories that are being dissected, er -- dicussed.

I suspect your wife knows how she experiences sex and would prefer to know how YOU experience sex -- and it's always easier to write from your own point of view.

Reading stories on lit with a female point of view might help - but there's no guarantee that those stories are written BY women (and therefore aproaching the level of accuracy you want). I suggest looking into books printed by the UK's "Black Lace" label, which is marketed as erotica "written by women, for women." I enjoy those books, and your wife might, too.
