I actually preferred it to the first movie, to be honest.

Like Tears said, it wasn't anything to write home about, but it lacked the pretension of the first film and had more fun being what it was. Also it had Christopher Lambert and Anthony Head in brief roles.

I think the scene of two anchent Kryptonians exploding out of a dormant volcant, causing it to erupt again (Maybe they come out of Krackatoa) is a pretty cool scene.

I'm having a real issue with the death of Var-Sen and Raya. Not that I don't understand the necessity of their death, including, if it were come to pass, the death of their children (should they have had any).

I just can't bring myself to do it.

So, having said that, someone else will have to.

Write their death, that is.

I just can't.

I like the idea of the children escaping via the Star Gate and coming to Earth.

J'onn sees them, understands why and how they are there. Of course, he would have felt the destruction of Sanctuary, but probably wouldn't know for sure until he sees the children.

I am sure Var and Raya's death will have a profound effect on him.

Her mother told her she was named after a song.

The truth, though, is I chose the name from Celtic mythology.

Either way, it was perfect.

Her name is Rhiannon.
