okay, so the basic premise here is....giant starship, mistaken for a space station for thousands of years because of its size. Recently acquired by a young man who inherited a corporation. The setting is a galaxy filled with both military and religious nutjobs. Any takers?

the role of Miss Ishida, the secretary, is open. I was thinking someone of Asian descent.

as for my character, I still have to make a profile

I'm totally stealing your quote when you aren't paying attention by the way.

"So...all I am to you is...a blanket?"
"Shhh, blankets don't bitch dear"

That is amongst the most epically condescending things I've ever read. Brought a tear to my eye.

*snickers* I was imagining the fluffyness of Jeremy Bernal's character, Dawn, curled up around me looking almost indignant as she realizes she's being used for warmth.

Name: Toryu Arino
Age: 25
Sex: Male.
Appearance: Black hair, blue eyes, light skin. Tall and thin.
Occupation: Engineer/corporate president

Toryu is not a religious man. Nor was his father. He grew up around machines, electronics, and the like. He has a fascination with machines, but he also has a calculating, sometimes COLD mind. He sees the problems that could come up, and strives to correct them beforehand.

Name: Jermaine Sharpe
Age: 23
Sex: Male
Appearance: Shoulder length dirty blond hair, usually pulled back into a pony tail. Ice blue eyes, medium height, slightly muscular build
Occupation: Ex-Military

Jermaine grew up in a military family. Every male in his family had served going back as far as anybody could remember. It was expected of him. He'd excelled at it and hated it with equal vigor before managing to get himself kicked out for conduct unbecoming.

Oh, this was for warmth. . . actually I was more thinking security but still. So beautifully condescending. I have no idea how I'm going to work that into a story but I will. Because it is tres awesome.

Heh heh. I wish I could find someone to play Dawn for me to actually use that exchange.
