Thor - more listening to the fantastic commentary by Kenneth Branagh than watching it. A very good informative and entertaining commentary. I recommend it for fans of such extras.

Just saw the sorta indie movie Attack the Block. The guys who made Shawn of the Dead made this movie and the basic setting is a gang of south london 15 year olds vs an alien invasion. The movie isn't too long but it's very well paced and has a nice blend of action and comedy. Also had a fantastic soundtrack. My only problem was at times the south london accent was really hard to understand and I had to look up certain slang terms they used like bruv (means bro), fam (another way of saying bro. fam is short for family), and merc (attack, kill,etc). Overall though it's well worth a watch and I'm for sure gonna buy the blu-ray when it hits stores.

Valhalla Rising (2009)

European movie about vikings or whatever. It's low budget and the scale of the story is small, but it's very interesting to watch. It stars the guy who played the villain in Casino Royale. I highly recommend it.

It was a pretty huge theatrical flop... I'm not sure if the video sales made up for it. So, afaik, the sequal (planned trillogy) are on hold.
