RNP I went to a September wedding a couple of years ago (and feeling good because I lost weight for it). Several of the family members (particularly the women) told me how distinguished I looked with my beard (which I grew to support my baseball team in 2013, and yes they won it all). I took that as code for grey in the beard/looking older and shaved it off for my teams 2018 playoff run (and yes they won it all again).

It is an interesting word when someone says you look distinguished, I think normally they mean it in a good way but it can sound a bit like you look older than you want to.

I have been lucky enough to see a game at Fenway park once, albeit a long time ago. Was a very fun time.
