I will no longer be posting pics or responding on this thread any longer.

Some of you may be happy about that, but I also know by the PM's I received and responses here that some of you will also miss my posts and pics.

Here are the reasons for me no longer posting on the very thread I created:
1) Too many selfrighteous assholes have ruined this thread. It's funny that the BDSM community portrays itself as tight knit group. Ha...what a joke.
2) I am been threatened with action due to me posting supposily "c" pics. The person who did the threat is a selfrighteous asshole (you can read his post below).
3) The anti-American feeling in here and the fact that some unloyal Americans themselves won't defend America. This is a principle issue and has nothing to due with BDSM but I feel strongly about it.

To clarify #3:
If Americans are as dumb as they say in here, then why are we the most economically powerful, politically powerfully and militarily powerful country in the world?....and by far. Hmm....some would say....luck. Ha. Truth is, Americans are the hardest working people in the world, America attracts the best minds, America is where the smartest people are.

Foreigners make the huge mistake of watching American TV and assuming that's what America is. How pathetic of them. Nothing worse then a person who thinks he knows everything yet in reality is ignorant. Europe especially has been swayed by their media. Shall we say brainwashed?

Another reason America is hated. Everyone hates #1. Afterall...isn't cheering for the underdog the way to go? It's mentally satisfying for them to tear down the person or company or country at the top. How sad they are so insecure that they feel this need.

Europe wouldn't have computers, TV, radio, cars, electric, phone and so many other things without America. We invented them you fools. it's just laughable. You would still be living in the dark ages.

I won't respond to any posts because this is my last time visiting this thread. Enough said. Bye all.

You forgot to include the post so I have no idea who could be the self-righteous asshole in this case.

I spent quite some time in the US, so I didn't get any ideas about Americans from TV alone but from living there. And I'm sorry to say that there are indeed too many people like you living there.

I honestly don't mind the US being as powerful as it is. I do mind the way they behave towards other nations. They might be able to conquer every existing countrey in the world. At the moment I get the impression that the US is out to destroy everything, including human rights they fight for, but have no plan what to do with the mass of destruction created. For example is it ridiculous to be fighting against terrorism in the name of freedom and democracy and human rights and then locking away possible terrorists in an out-lawed prison.

The US, powerful as it is, does not have the responsibility to go with that power. It has all that technology but fossil energy is treated as though there are never-ending resources. It has poor public transportation, poor school system, poor health system, but rising military costs to remain unchallenged the world power #1. It's probably easier to buy a gun than a porn.
It has way too many people not aware of the world and the impact the US government has on other countries. Many Americans have never been to other countries, so how can they learn this.

I found and still find that many US Americans find it hard to look further than their nation's border. And usually those are the ones who, in Germany, would be considered right-wing extremists(?).

Yes, I am grateful for many things that came from the US. Those stuff you mentioned, while glad I have a fridge and internet, is NOTHING in comparison to the democracy I enjoy living in that has been the greatest gift anyone could have offered Germany (or any nation).
I am very sad, though, that such a powerful nation isn't more responsible in it's doings, more considerate, and more honest in its dealings with others.

Well, if you want to disguise yourself, you don't have to list a differently speaking countrey there. I'd still say that both you and me write better English than SOME of the native speakers.

Its not the first time I have said this on Lit (and probably won't be the last), I am always impressed by anyone who speaks and writes any other language.

It is normally the people who have english as their first and only language who make the most basic errors. I openly hold my hand up and say I am one of the worst offenders for that.

Chris your later post about Markets comment was well put.
I am not anti-American or anti-any nationality, however I thought you made valid points about somethings relating to the US.
Not to say the UK are any better, I know people in UK who have never been more than twice to the local city 20 miles away, nor spoken to anyone other than white British people. UK is not perfect, no society is, but I find closed minds of any nationality frustrating.
The whole aspect of differing cultures and lack of interest by ordinary people to want to learn and understand more about other ways of living is sad to me.

On a positive note, I think the world in small ways may be changing.
Andante and I have an American friend in UK, whose nephew lives in middle America. He is 10 yrs old. His class have a project where they send out a small toy to travel the world and report back to the school about the place they have visited and what they have learnt.
I know its only one school out of 1,000000 but its one teacher who is aiming to show there is more life out there. So far her nephews toy has been to various places in UK and learnt about the differing cultures that co-exist there and Denmark. He is now heading for Japan then Spain. He should be back in the US by May 2006.
