I'd like to start a thread where we can share the links to Literotica stories we read that made an impression on us. A short description of themes and what made you recommend the story would also be great.

Please don't share your own stories... 🫤

I'll start the ball rolling by recommending an excellent story I've just read. It's a new author too so it might help them get some attention.

It's a 15k-word femdom story that doesn't feature any sex. There isn't much physical contact either. It's mostly psychological but it's excellently written in an interesting style, if somewhat overdone and protracted. Either way, I warmly recommend it even to those who don't usually read femdom.

Feel free to link the story you enjoyed along with a description and a reason for linking it.

Let's use the forum to promote the work of authors, especially those who are less known. :)

I wonder how many AH members are now going to run there to see if their story was recommended by anyone.

I see the most recent post is someone saying they read to foot fetish stories I recommended...back in the threads beginning in 2015.
I think you may have gotten side tracked by the fact that the pages are in reverse order from what we normally see. The most recent posts are on the highest page number. The latest is from Jan 29, 2024. I do wish that whoever is "in charge" would make it match the normal pattern.

EDIT: Jan 29, 2025, of course.

No, its 1/29/2025.

I know. But not many AH-ers are active there. AH should have a thread such as this one.
A quick skim through the most recent 2 pages revealed 7 people I recognized, including some extended conversations. Maybe this thread will introduce some other AHers to that thread.

There have been similar threads in the AH historically. They started off fine, but quickly got derailed by people promoting their own stories.
They were titled differently. Something like "What's the best story you've ever read."

I know AH well enough so I asked specifically for people not to link their own stories.

Hopefully, we can make this thread into something positive and useful.

I haven't done a scientific study, but I don't see this one as being derailed by self promoters. It was started in 2015 and the last post was 1/29/25.

Linking this one not only because I liked it but was surprised I did. I read it before it was published as a story exchange, and it's totally out of my wheelhouse and personal experience, but the characters drew me in, and I found them oddly relatable in the misfit sense.

The Harpy I loved this one. One of the rare ones in L/W with a good score
the-fragile-heart - This one had a poor score is not for everyone but I loved it
harry-rita-and-kelly - Another one with a poor score but awesome story

Then there are stories that I absolutely hate but the authors had talent to make me read them again and again 🤬
I’ll second The Harpy. Anything by todd172 is a good story, there is a good reason he is in the LW greatest a lot.

Why don't you re-post here? Support a thread that's been active from 2015 through 1/25? Alert. The most recent posts are in the highest number page. I wish they'd fix that.

Why do you insist on jacking this thread by posting links to other threads?

I would think it was obvious. What's the point of starting a redundant thread when there's one that's been going find for about 10 years? Why dilute the participation?

Look, I already explained why I want to start this thread here in AH. Not many AH-ers frequent the Story Feedback forum. You linked the thread, like three times already. People will see it. I don't think there's anyone who can miss it. So I'd like to keep this thread free of further derailment and try to entice people to link the stories they like.
Let's keep this positive.

for me it's simple.
There is a specific place in the story feedback forum for exactly this thread.
By starting a separate thread it devalues the original.
Imagine how easy it would be if everybody could go to the one place to see story recommendations???If somebody is looking for a recommendation, that is the place they should go.
The AH isn't special, the commenters here are capable of viewing other forums iif they're looking for something in particular...
Why double up???

Not a negative comment, Just my thoughts.

I recall someone did this a couple of years ago, started up a duplicate thread here in the AH for something that was already alive and well (albeit without huge traction) in the Story Feedback Forum. It did not end well, and created animosity that was completely unnecessary.

The fact that many AHers don't frequent the Feedback Forum (some of us do) suggests to me that those AHers could get out more. But it's a shrug from me - if anyone cares (why would they particularly care?) what I think are good stories, they can always check out my Favourite Stories on my profile. It's not a long list, nor has it been curated into subject oriented lists, like some folk do. But it reflects what I like, and the good stuff I've found.

Another reason to support the Goodreads thread is that it's been pinned in the Feedback forum. There's institutional support for it.

words with Friends with Benefits .

14k is a soft romance with a very realistic set of characters. The word choices within the game add to the interest for me, but it's mostly about the friendship evolving to more.

The Promise

This story is a really sweet story that allows for healing after loss. I expected to check out by the end of the first page, but just kept reading. It's really good. It's about 33k

Yearning to Blow

About 8.5k words on a style of submission I haven't really seen in here before. It's very much "I want you to want me to do this thing for you, but I don't want to outright tell you that." There's an air of reluctant dominance while writing under a deadline and I actually reviewed this on my podcast.

Leah Practices her Deep Throat

About 8k words that are very blowjob oriented.

*Shrug* I like BJ stories.

My Holiday Hero

About 9k words on action figures come to life. I thought it was cute and fun, extremely well written and quite humorous.

Bound Fun with my Roommate

About 23k words on bondage, photography, and miscommunication between a pair of opposite sex roommates. Leans a little noncon, but is more reluctance with a continuous push of where the line they shouldn't cross is.

A Different Kind of Dungeon Master
About 8k words on roleplaying and d&d with some light cnc/faux bondage in play. Cleverly uses the "in character" method of enforcing a somewhat noncon scene in that she's never really restrained but acts as though she is
