In Germany Christmas starts Monday, December 24, followed by two public holidays...
When also taking into account the weekend before Christmas, this means 5 days without work...not bad, huh?
And at the beginning of the new year I´m off work a full week.
The Christmas days are the same at your place?

That's pretty good...unfortunately I work in retail so I have to work the 24th...then get the two days off for Christmas and back to work on the Thursday.

in Germany at December 24 the shops are opened till noon. Isn´t it the same in your country?
