Basic gist is that an older man is unhappily married, his wife always put her career first and they never had kids. New younger couple moves next door with a young kid. The older dude has to go over because the neighbor’s lights are always on. He develops a friendship with the younger wife as her husband is a jerk who didn’t really want to marry her but did so because of the kid. A couple of scenes stuck out:
1. At one point older dude and neighbor wife race in the pool
2. There’s some sort of charity event that older dude organizes with younger neighbor wife
3. Early in the story the older dude’s wife is complaining that the kids in the neighborhood are standing on the lawn the waiting for the school bus
