Like "Gulf of America" wasn't stupid enough

Trump announced that he’s changed the name of South Korea to “South Carerdddd”. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Renaming things is what you do when you want to make a visible impact, but don't want to spend money on it or put any work into it.

Like renaming Negroes as black, then Afro-Americans, then African-Americans, back to black, and now Black?

Didn't you post on the General Board how much you love the diversity on Lit?

Don't tell me you pretend to be woke to get pussy on the sex boards, then show your true stupid fucking MAGAtard colors here.

I mean a MAGAtard lying? Surely not? Lol.

going to go out on a limb here and say that I suspect your family has coalesced around referring to "those people" as n-words at holiday get-togethers.

I was responding to the comment: Renaming things is what you do when you want to make a visible impact, but don't want to spend money on it or put any work into it.

Relevant to my example let me ask; How has renaming sub-Saharan African folks advanced civil rights, economic prosperity, literacy, reduced crime, improved social outcomes, or accomplished any tangible metric for these folks?

It hasn't.

It was just the easy thing to do when the hard things were too hard to do.

When the Democrats win back the Presidency and Congress in 2028, they need to REVERSE everything that Trump has done in his second and final term.

Duly noted. You were, of course, tweaking "those people" for continually adjusting the preferred term to describe their race, but this was one of the rare times you actually were responding to something somewhat germane to the discussion. Well played. Ten points for Slytherin.

Thank you. And thank you for being one of the people who understands that changing a name doesn't change the problem. ;)
