made a different drink last night that was tasty...I call it "The Wannabe"...maybe you can figure out why

Ingredients:

2 oz of your spirit of choice, I used Tanqueray No. 10
3/4 oz lemon juice

shake with ice,
pour in lowball glass over ice

This strikes me as a way to try to promote yerself on a thread thats been established already.
I do not know you, never met you, and you appear to be new.
Welcome and all, but if you want to promote yerself, make your own thread, or at least say hi and ask first? I am not trying to be an ass, and
maybe I am reading you wrong, but thats the impression *I* certainly get by your comments and the very interesting choices of words used.

It is root beer( and other flavors of specialty soda - for the good little girls & boys, but it’s also some really tasty beer / ale for Santa, Mrs. Claus, and the elves.

Their special Amber is pure ambrosia if you get it fresh on tap at the brewery or one of the surrounding establishments, but they are mostly known for their craft root beer to those outside the area.

Welp, back on the road after a pit stop to refuel and get a snack. Only another two hours or so til we arrive at the North Pole.

It’s a slow day in virtual land. I assume most people are busy with the run up - friends, family, neighbors. I’ve had a couple of drop in visits from people who are flowing out of the area for the Christmas to New Years span. Nice little visits and a chance to exchange gifts.

I hope your Christmas run up is enjoyable and you have a great little Christmas Eve. :)
