ehhhh...

I have some sevcere issues with the finale personally...

SPOILERS

1. They should have made the fight with vecna and the Mind Flayer as two different fights. And the Mind Flayer was more...scary...when he was made of smoke and stuff, not just a fleshy monstrosity

2. So...plety of characters dont get a final wrap up? How about Vickie the candy striper nurse (Maya Hawke's girlfriend)? Did they ever eat at Enzos? Could have shown that.
How about Murray the bearded, balded conspiracy theorist guy? His last moment was rigging up the bombs and record player etc...I mean...come on, was he even at the graduation?
The freaking military?! Hello...they just see Eleven blow up basically and then....whoosh...gone. They didnt lock up Hopper and the team...(Hopper is chief fof police again too)...I mean they did just shoot 20 soldiers or whatever. They also saw the upside down, vecna, demogorgons and dog, and more. Seem like they should be "disappeared".

3. So much talking before the battle and setting stuff up...blah...

4. Did Hopper and Joyce ever think to themselves...hmmm, is that Henry Creel/Vecna maybe the SAME GUY I WENT TO HIGH SCHOOL WITH?! Why did they not explore that storyline a tiny bit? Maybe have Henry Creel get turned down by Joyce in HS for a date. Then he goes to her and gets violent, tries to rape her.
Boom. He is Will's actual father. Thats how he has powers.
Ok if thats not working fine. How about something where Joyce and Hopper discover the lab and files on Henry? Flash back to some weird scene in hS where Henry used his powers for something small.

5. No demogorgons or dogs in the finale. COME ON. Esp since...Joyce? Someone said in an earlier episode they could see into Vecna and he had his "whole army"...

6. Any reason why it is TWLEVE kids? Nope.

7. Will tied to the hive mind, feels what Vecna is feeling (and the Mind Flayer!)...and yet...Vecna and Mind Flayer getting attacked and Will is..."THIS IS FINE".

8. Eleven's ending...or non-ending. Total cop-out!

Well, yeah… there IS all of that of course….

But look at all that stuff you’re thinking about! All accurate, too.

Yeah, I think the whole musical cast piece was wasted as well… and I was wondering about Murray as well… and all of those plot holes, such a complex mythology is hard to wrap up. Sort of like a Stephen King novel. Sort of like the end of It being similar to the mind flayer fight with them all working together. I was ready to hear someone scream “This is acid!”

Still liked it.

I just think sometimes people dont realize who they might be talking with. I am sure I have been guilty of that many times.
In this instance, calling a woman a "piece of ass"...is not received well by most any woman except in certain instances, and perhaps expecially by me, someone who is...not sub or likes to use demeaning words and phrases, and also me who has done reasonably well for herself in terms of job/salary/education/accomplishments/whatever and isnt just "eye candy" or whatever.

However.
I can look past it unless it keeps happening.
Everyone makes mistakes, I am not thin-skinned, blah blah.

In 2007, I opened for a minor league comedian at a small work function and bombed.
The comedian did use me for target practice a bit during his time, including making fun of me driving a Metro and That was that.
Years later during my daughter's last year in college, there was the same comedian headlining at their student center.
She told me I should go and I did.
It was an interesting show for sure.
I went to see him after the show was over with my daughter and reminded him of the experience.
is first question?
Do you still drive a Metro?
Needless to say, my daughter laughed.

He was he was quite chatt and friendly, I didn't recognize him initially, he's quite tall and was wearing a hat, his voice is quite distinctive, he's an observational comedian, even when talking to him I was very aware of not wanting to say anything stupid

Anyone read ASOIAF (Game of Thrones) books/series?

I saw this online and thought it was the perfect analogy to describe how the fans feel about GRRM and how he is both perceived now and what he has actually done etc.

I was watching Matt Rife on Netflix a bit over the holidays. Some of his stuff is pretty funny. Had not heard of him, but watched his Xmas one, and then one other.
So then I was debating about heading to see him and then saw tix to his shows were not intimate gatherings like in the netflix show, but huge stadiums, and cost $300 or whatever for a good seat.
I passed.
