I could see the decision coming in the off season. There are too many promising drivers in F2, and in current fill-in roles in F1 right now. Checo should have been able to go further in the first stint.

Decision will likely be made in the off season. There are too many promising drivers in F2, and in current fill-in roles in F1 right now. Checo should have been able to go further in the first stint.
