Two are tied:
Never Let me Down Again
Nothing

arounding out my top 5 would include Stripped, Black Celebration, and uhh...hmmm...maybe Everything Counts...dunno. Blasphemous Rumors is up there!
Rammstein did a pretty good cover of stripped on their second album.

All great choices. Did you see them in concert when they came to the US in 2023? I missed out on tickets.

I'll take one from column A

And two from Column B
The Beatles and Green Day are both great.
Not too keen on the others but thats fine.

Bob Marley, The Cure, The National, Billie are all terrific.
Had to google Coltor, but based on his name, my guess was right (country)...nd thats the one style you could not pay me to listen to.

Well, the Beatles were my one from Column A, and Bob Marley and Billie Holiday from Column B.
Most of my life, I have shared your attitude toward country, partly because of the politics often associated with the genre.
But I"ve learned to appreciate some of the musicianship, Willie Nelson is great, and Johnny Cash was one of the great voices of all time
As Shemikia Copeland sings in Drivin out of Nashville.
"country music ainā€™t nothinā€™ but the blues with a twangā€.
