I used to all the time, all damn day. My tattoo of lavender under my breast is for my anxiety as lavender calms me. I dont want to get into details of everytihng but I had experienced a major trauma a couple years back and something changed inside of me and now I just dont give a single F what most people think (obviously that doesnt mean my parents and family or manager or best/close friends etc) and then being on a place like this where I do get to hear more than my share of compliments about my body or me in general, it just continually fills my confidence meter up as well. I think I have a lot to offer in a variety of areas and while there are plenty of things that get me down in terms of maybe career or my health or whatever, or if I have some issues with a friend or family member, overall I tend to think...hell yeah, I can do this, hell yeah I rock/you dont know what yer missing!...that sort. So I am anything but egotistical I think, but confident? Even if its sometimes a false bravado, I try to remain as confident as I can!

@LilKitKat I think the topic of self confidence somehow is related the cultural things or how a given nation think about it.

I saw many times that people confuse an arrogant person with a confident person, especially in the case of athletes.

Self confidence means for me that I am in harmony with myself, my core values, my believes, my limits, my strong and weak points while be more and more conscious and practise self control.
If I practise the above things and communicate properly I can be honest as well.

If somebody read carefully the book "The Art of War" it talks about the self-awareness and the continuous risk management as well.
