You wouldn't think a coupon conversation on literotica would go on quite so long...yet, there it is.

noms ReiRei's ear

*flicks ear* =^.^= ♥

*laughs* Heh, I'm actually not as serious as I seem. I would prefer to watch my cartoons and draw pictures of boobs. Actually it's what I did today all considered (new Korra after all), but I'd rather think the world is more greedy then stupid.

Additionally should I stick with having my money on Bioshock, or move it over to Dishonored? Bioshock got pushed back to February, so I'm considering the closer game. I'll eventually want both.

Heh, I draw lots of boobs too. Lily knows this. xx
My chips are all on D3.

*grabs Lady and Sis and hugs tightly in squishiness*
Eeeeee!!
*lets go and hunts CT for his own squishysqueeze before her mess dries*

*Is all muddy*

....
I'll have to go to the bar then. All I have is cream.

*Returns with a gallon 2% milk.*

SKIM MILK!!!!

Diablo III means nothing to me. Once, long ago I would have jumped at it, but it's no longer something I want. Never picked up Starcraft II, or Warcraft III. Not that I didn't like the series, but the predecessors seem to be more my speed. When they started modifying the gameplay too far away from the original, I decided to wait until it became either the best thing ever or moot. I figure on it being moot.

But, Bioshock or Dishonored. I'm still stuck on this..

Fair enough.
Not going to judge.

Blah. *plops down on a sofa*

I have so much shit to think about. Sometimes I very much envy my cat's life. :/

Having just been to a talk with the Bioshock design team, I think you'd be foolish to let anything get in the way or delay acquiring it (obviously, barring reviews).

Is anyone willing to attack my back? Please? I can barely stand and woke up crying. :(

Maybe when my boy wakes up, he can jump on it a few times. Ugh....

I dunno if you have insurance right now, but if you do, and it covers chiropractors, I can't recommend going enough. I've had back problems for years and years and finally went and it was easily one of the smartest thing I've ever done.

I'm not sure if I have chiro coverage...
Wonder if choro college does a "let our students take a whack at a crack in your back" thing.

You need some Dr. Fish..

I'm kidding, Dr. Fish won't help. I just like saying the word.

" Doctor. FEEEEESH".

:D

Feel better, sis. xx

That is CREEEEEEPY.

I dunno if I'd let chiro students work on me...but definitely check if your insurance covers it. Many do.

Actually most chiropractor colleges do have students try their practice on walk ins. The massage and chiropractor students here do $50 bucks walk in Wednesdays. For the most part they only let the proficient ones have a crack at it.

I just have UM jump up and down on me till something pops.

Well...
1. as there are a LOT of lousy chiropractors (since, as mine puts it, there's really no standard of care), the last thing I'm gonna do is allow a student to work on me
2. as I NEED my spine, and need it to not get worse, I am also not gonna allow a student to work on me.

*shrugs* Heh, well.. since there is no standards of practice, having someone still close to the material might be just as good. They'd least have knowledge on newer (not to mention safer) practices. You could end up with an older one whom uses a rubber mallet because "this is how I learned.."

well, thats why you only go to someone who comes recommended.
Actually, I won't go to any medical professional without recommendations/references, if I can avoid it.

Oh, you've met my uncle-!

I trust doctors, to do what they were taught to do. Make me better. If I need a specialist, I have myself referred. And take that referral. If I have to have surgery. That's where I start to ask questions.

Chiropractors.

I ask to look at a degree in massage. Anyone comes near me with a rubber mallet, I ask them if I look like furniture, and I walk away.

I don't even trust recommendations anymore.
Doctor who delivered my kids came off my aunt's recommending.

Bitch tried to kill me and my daughter.
Plus totally screwed up my innards.

I dunno what its like in Canada, but there are a LOT of shitty doctors in the US. It isn't a question of the technical skills, its a question of the person

But what else can you do?

Actually, I think that Boston magazine publishes a list of the best doctors in the metro boston area, but I've never looked at it.

Wing it!

Actually, with CERTAIN docs, I feel better if they've been at it awhile. I regret not going to the dr who delivered my son for my lil gal. He retired right after she was born.
The duo goes to the same pediatrician I went to at their age. When Dr W realized that, he started fake crying... "God I'm oooold...."

lol
I think the other thing you have to do is to be willing to switch when the doctor isn't any good, instead of feeling commited.

Contemplating a new thread....

Another Xmen one, or a magic one set with an FMA-esque setting.

Yeah, I've been trying to come up with another thread idea. I've wanted to do something with Aeon from You Don't See What We See, or some other superbeing so I can play with the toys I love...
