Linking to members in story comments

Is there a way to link member's names in the story comments? I would like to answer directly to some comments, but not via PM but publicly visible. Still, it would be great if they got notified. I thought I saw a link to a member somewhere, but can't find it anymore, perhaps it was here in the forum.

The best you can do (as far as I understand) is to reply publicly but send them a DM saying that you've done so (and, if you're kind, including the text of your reply).

That's a frequently-requested feature that Literotica seems to not want to implement. I try to direct comments on my story to the forum, where we can have conversations, but almost no one will actually do it. Maybe commenters here just don't want to interact with us.
