Just an idle thought - if you wanted to be able to secretly identify yourself as another Lit author to somebody else who you met on the street or at a conference or a party and who might be another author, what subtle handshake or other sign would you suggest? There are, after all, thousands of us...

I think the best way to tell would be to start narrating in second person and see if they flinch or throw a single star at you.
