I didn't write the test ... just posted a sample. I'm sure there are other tests out there ... but it gives a general idea of what is meant by Emotional Intelligence. I don't think that IQ tests are necessirly all that objective, nor do they actually predict someone's success in either academics or life in general.

I just think that it reflects a person's philosophy, presented as science when it isn't.

Thank you for enlightening me. Off to change my original answer to that question to 'both'.

Don't get me started on the IQ debate. In my opinion, it's way too culturally determined to be indicative of anything.

Except that you're good at IQ tests.

I don't think that either IQ or EQ can be qualified as hard, quantifiable science. Do they/Can they reflect a person's philosphy, relation to the world around them, perceptions, thinking process, etc .... probably.

For example: Humans have an EQ of approximately seven. Their brain is about seven times larger than the average animal of the same body mass.

i can say nothing. Or not much.

Still go through the vegetarian type phases, and the highly carnivorous type phases depending on what my body needs and the time of year. And if anybody manages to bag something during hunting season.

Well, protein IS good for the brain! Neo-cortex, actually. You should read the Sixth Extinction by Dr. Richard Leakey. It profoundly affected my thinking on life.

It is a highly addictive roleplaying game, which has spawned support groups nationwide (at least in the States) for EverCrack widows and widowers. It was followed by WoW, World of Warcrack... erm Craft, which has also spawned support groups.

Both are evil, evil games that should be outlawed, but of course, that is a violation of freedoms and such, soooo....

My best advice on both games is: Just say no to Crack!!!
