Literotica's turn around time on publishing a story

I'm up to 9 days for my latest, and that's over twice the normal wait.

NC/R also tends to take longer to be approved, and presumably anything with a non-consent tag as well. Perhaps other categories also get extra scrutiny.

This has actually not been my experience as a noncon writer, to my utmost surprise. The longest I waited was when I had an AI rejection, and then like 5 weeks or something during the last big contest. But I submitted a story on Sunday night right before bed, woke up 8 hours later and it was approved. The weirdest thing is my current work was approved to post in the wee morning hours of the 18th, to post on the 20th. Usually it's approved to post the following day. 5 of my 8 chapters have been approved in less than 24 hours.

I don't know what any of this contributes to the thread - other than more evidence that the wait times are pure RNG.

My latest story (not submitted for a contest) has now been pending for two weeks. I've never had a delay this long. Not sure what's going on.
