The one thing I've noticed, as compared to other boards where politics and current events are the primary topics is that ad hominem attacks are not only ignored by the Mods, but in some cases seem to be encouraged.

Such is life though. I do find some of the interpersonal diatribes, threads and general attack threads to be quite amusing, even though I have no idea who the "alties" involved are.
