Hello.
I've been on and off Literotica for many years, and have posted other messages like this one. And I've developed several friendships, with some still ongoing. I am emotional for a guy, so I tend to connect more easily with women.
I still find myself lonely for the kind of deep connection where everything about each person can be seen, accepted, and loved by the other person, where neither person needs to hide anything or pretend. I believe this is a rare gift. I've only experienced it a couple of times, and I'm in my 60s.
You can look at my profile and my older, similar posts. To reiterate a few things about me:
- I believe I am a type 4 in the Enneagram personality model.
- I believe that spirituality and sexuality are linked together in a space that Thomas Moore describes as an "inferno." Ideally, the connection I seek will live in this inferno at times.
- I like to write and read emails to get to know a person. If we move onto a chat platform, WhatsApp is my preferred one, though I may be willing to consider others.
- I have experience as a dom. A little bit in person and quite a lot online, and I've come to believe that in a true d/s relationship, the sub has just as much power as the dom. If I am a dom in a relationship, my job is to know my sub's limits, tolerances, and desires, to thrill my sub, and in return, my sub gives herself to me.
Trust is important in the kind of relationship I seek, though in my experience a certain amount can be built pretty quickly due to the inherent safety that results from the anonymity that comes from interacting remotely. To really be open to each other with full knowledge of our real lives will take more time. In the best remote relationships I've had, communication has included sharing deep emotional concerns, our dark nights of the soul, etc., in text as well as in voice memos and videos. The voice memos and videos have included, orgasms (both mine and hers) and tributes. Some of these can happen sooner if anonymity is preserved (camera angles, voice only, etc.), while some will require more complete knowledge of the other person and the trust that supports that, built up over more time.
