I have had an idea for a story about an officer (captain or higher rank) in the british army during the Napoleonic Wars.
After a battle he ends up taking a young woman into his protection at the request of his wife, as the story progresses the three of them become closer. The story is written from the POV of the officer.
I would write this one myself except that my expertise is more on sci-fi/fantasy and interracial than romance but I would love to see this story written.
If anyone knows of a similar one to this idea please tell me.
