looking to chat

Welcome, Mike.
I've been unwell, still battling.
I'll try a quick brief reply.

Lite

3.
I guess it depends what they’re lying about. Perhaps they’re in a relationship and Literotica is just a diversion and they’re not looking for a real hook up. Perhaps they’re concentrating on another hook up. Or maybe they are bragging on line about their prowess or physical attributes. I doubt very much that every guy on Literotica has a 9” penis.
9"?
Mike, Mike, Mike.
The lit standard was updated to 12" a while back.

5.
The Japanese are very friendly and intelligent people. I come from the US (please don’t hold that against me, I didn’t vote for this government), the thing I noticed different from the US was the lack of diversity. The US has many different cultures and ethnic groups. Just an observation, not saying that’s good or bad. Also noticed a lot more bicycles there than the US. Perhaps because we often have to travel longer distances here.
Many countries within SE Asia are multi cultural and multi racial. Japan is not. Japan is, however, as you've noticed, very friendly, soft spoken, and many of them live to a ripe old age.

No? Well, if you could, where would you go? Why that destination?
I would like to go to Cambodia (Siem Reap), and Thailand (various temples)
Many temples in many countries too, so don't limit your choices.

6. whats your best experience from lit? I learned that although I’ve had a lot of sexual experiences, I’m fairly normal compared to the Literotica population. Also that women can be just as horny as men.
Normal is good.
Most on lit are weird trolls.

7. tell me about yourself and what you'd like to chat about. I am 6’1” tall, 180 pounds (185 cm tall, 81 Kg)
I am a retired engineer
Exercise daily
Travel and read in my spare time
👍🏻
Where have you traveled to, besides Stonehenge?
Where's your favourite?
What are you reading now?

Non-sexual hobbies:
Photography
Travel
Ancient ruins (just was at Stonehenge in England last week)
Reading
We have a few similar hobbies!

Went to the grand opening of a TesoLife store in a nearby city. Always enjoyable to see what things a new import store brings.

1. Have you ever met a lit-ster? No
If you did, how did it go?
If you havent, would you? Probably if the opportunity arose - Im not chatting on here much, still learning how to use the forum :)
2. Guys, if you send a PM to a woman, are you really expecting a reply or is it "no biggie" if she doesnt send you a reply? How do you feel? I dont think anyone should 'expect' a reply particularly online
3. This probably happens with both sexes, but since I generally chat with guys, my question would be: why do guys lie when they chat online? Insecurity perhaps?
4. How has your experience on lit been? if you have any particular experience you'd like to share, please do so. I like to read stories and use my imagination.
5. Since I'm from South East Asia, have you been to this region? Yes several times, Indonesia, Bali, Vietnam, Thailand.
Yes? Please share where you've been and what you liked/disliked about it. Some of the usual tourist places but also a few out of the way places. Tourist places are interesting but hectic, I like out of the way places where you can see more of the local life
No? Well, if you could, where would you go? Why that destination? To be honest Im still working that out. I have heard the Phillipines is amazing.
6. whats your best experience from lit? this could be anything from a story (tell us which one); a litster; a voice; a picture; something new you learnt about yourself; .... etc etc. I like stories that involve spontaneous events
7. tell me about yourself and what you'd like to chat about. Im a middle age single white man that lives in NW of Western Australia
8. have you ever been to a lit gathering? Never had the chance

Well, I may fall short in that area. I’m 6” and fairly thick. Hope you won’t hold that against me.

And they are humble people as well. The multi cultural aspect of other SE Asian cultures is evident, as exemplified in the Vietnamese food with its French influences.

This is very true. I guess I’m fascinated by beautiful architecture.

Where have you traveled to, besides Stonehenge?

Japan
England
Scotland
Spain
Portugal
Greece
Italy
Egypt
Morocco
Mexico
Canada
Bermuda
Aruba

Where's your favourite?

That is truly a difficult question to answer! Ever since I was young I wanted to see the pyramids of Giza in Egypt so a few years ago I went. Being an engineer I was fascinated by the achievement of constructing such a large structure so long ago. But I also love southern Europe. Spain, Italy, and Greece. And I like the different parallels in culture:
Stoneworks of Egypt similar to Peru
The blue cities of Santorini Greece and Chefcheouen in Morocco
The Moorish architecture of Morocco and Alhambra in Granada Spain.

But, to answer the original question: Which is my favorite:
Sevilla, Spain - history, architecture, charm
Sorrento, Italy - beautiful, historic areas nearby, grandparents were from this area
Sardinia, Italy - stunning beaches, charming towns, ancient ruins

What are you reading now?

David Balducci just published two books: Nash Falls, and Hope Rises.
In the first book, a man’s family is destroyed when the FBI asks him to go undercover and spy on a criminal organization run by a beautiful Asian woman. He looses everything and vows revenge on her. He trains hard for a year, changes his appearance and infiltrates her organization, vowing to kill her. But in the second book, he learns everything is not how it seems, and it brings up conflicting emotions. I won’t go into if further but I will just say is that the two books are well worth reading!

We have a few similar hobbies!

It seems like it! Hope to discuss further!

That sounds nice.
What did this new import store bring?
It was like a Japanese Walgreens, without the photo center and pharmacy. Snacks galore of all sorts of flavors. Flavors like peach oolong Oreos and hotpot flavored Lays.
Health and Beauty products from Japan (including an endcap of personal pleasure devices).
Toys and collectibles for all ages.
Housewares and ice cream.
And that was just what I saw through while navigating the crowds.

While I still would like to chat (with the right person/people), this thread has mostly evolved into a form of sharing/discussion. (See below ** for list of topics).

Feel free to contribute here ie: post here in this forum. Do NOT send me the answers in the chat room or through PM/Inbox - I wont be replying, as it will automatically be trashed.

If you'd like to chat, please first read my profile notes.
Then tell me about yourself as well as what interests you (see Q7).
If we match, I'll definitely post you a reply.
If PMs are necessary, I'll PM you.

If all you're looking for is to talk dirty, it's probably not going to be with me. I'm not looking for 1 time thrills.

** For convenience, here's a list of all the topics that we've talked about:

1. Have you ever met a lit-ster?
If you did, how did it go?
If you havent, would you?
2. Guys, if you send a PM to a woman, are you really expecting a reply or is it "no biggie" if she doesnt send you a reply? How do you feel?
3. This probably happens with both sexes, but since I generally chat with guys, my question would be: why do guys lie when they chat online?

No? Well, if you could, where would you go? Why that destination?
6. whats your best experience from lit? this could be anything from a story (tell us which one); a litster; a voice; a picture; something new you learnt about yourself; .... etc etc.
7. tell me about yourself and what you'd like to chat about.
8. have you ever been to a lit gathering?

Not forgetting: do you have any thoughts/questions to ask and share?

Let's go...pick one topic and talk about it at length, or answer all, if you like!

Feel free to join in! :)

The original post:

i'm bored and would like to chat with someone who's interested in more than sexual chat. (Yes, I know this is literotica) :)

Allow me to clarify: no, we WONT be chatting or role-playing about your fantasies - at least, not on the first chat and not if I dont know you. Thank you for understanding!
A more than sexual chat even if it borders on chitchat is welcome

7. tell me about yourself and what you'd like to chat about. Im a middle age single white man that lives in NW of Western Australia
Welcome, aussie rider.
Thanks for filling out the questionnaire.
Enjoy posting and getting to know more of us as you navigate through the forums.
Good day!

Great write up. So Spain and Italy are your favorites - these 2 are on my list, one day soon hopefully.

Are you Italian?

Do you hardcopies or kindle etc?

Teso Life is actually HQed in NY haha.
I'll bet there's a product that's a seasoning, added to rice, very nice.
If I still have them, will show you a pic.

Hope you have a steady recovery.

Lots! 👍🏻

Lots to go. The Greek island of Crete is next. Hoping for some southeast Asian countries too. Any suggestions?

Spring or fall are the best, tourism is a bit lighter and weather is mild. Countryside is beautiful and architecture is charming and historic.

Last year I scuba dived on the sunken Roman city of Baia, in the Bay of Naples. Lots of different things to see in Italy and Spain!

Are you Italian?

My grandparents came to the US from Italy. I am American of Italian descent. Perhaps it explains why I love the climate and culture of Italy.

Yes, the Balducci books are all interesting, he’s a great author. These two in particular, are very emotional. He blends action and emotion.

I read a lot, so I usually read novels on my Kindle. If I need a reference book for photography or drone flying, something like that, I will buy an actual book.

What test?

I'm good, Thanks, continuously busy though.

Check out Page 26 of this forum - I'd sent you a reply back a few weeks ago.
I would’ve swore that I had responded but I don’t see it. So sorry. I took the mcat. I’m trying to change careers into medicine.

"High, low, buffalo".

High - one positive thing
Low - one struggle
Buffalo - something interesting

These are items related to you.

An example:
He's a proud father.
His son is being bullied at school.
He's also a new dad...to 7 chicks 😆, he's always wanted to rear some chickens.

******

Who's up to try this?
It's been a month.
How has your past month been - what's your "high, low, buffalo"?

Given your interest in architecture, Cambodia comes to mind.
Thailand has lots of temples.
I also think any country in SE Asia would be a good first visit. 🙂
Lmk if you have any questions, perhaps we'll PM.

What type of podcasts?
Rediscovered the Rusty Quill Gaming Podcast and through them found the Magnus Archives and Magnus Protocol (pair of horror podcasts) and as well as a music podcast called Synthentral.
