A good friend of mine, EarlyMorningLight, lost access to the gmail account their Lit account was tied to. After this, in an attempt to protect themselves, they tried to change their Lit password not realizing the password change would send a validation email, and since then he has lost access to his Lit account.

What is the recourse to have his lit account transferred to a new email address, and is this something I can vouch for?

@Manu: strongly suggest you add a feature to allow an account to have two email addresses, to avoid losing the Literotica membership along with a specific address. Think of what will happen to someone who is using, say, Mullvad if the government of their country cracks down on it. It would probably be a nontrivial upgrade, but still.

From what I hear, Google getting mad at you can fuck up your whole life.

Then losing your erotica account as well is just kicking a person when they’re down.

Google is also pretty awful about permitting anonymous access; i changed to Proton after Google started demanding a cellphone number and other information I was not comfortable providing them. Strongly suggest that if you use gmail for lit that you look into another provider before it becomes a wall.

Oh crap: I misread the original post. How embarrassing.

There’s a long list of people whose email accounts are intact, but emails specifically from Literotica are blocked.

I have some editing to do! (Done now). Posted to the proper other thread.

I certainly did make an embarrassing couple errors posting to THIS thread. I’ve apologized and corrected that error.

There most definitely are lots of folks (even if it’s a minority) whose email programs are fine, but who cannot get emails from Literotica specifically. A simple fact. Nonetheless, I’m still embarrassed from my other mistake above.
