Lost & Found (OOC)

[The Jeffinator]

Lost: A ship full of passengers in cryogenic stasis suffers a hyperdrive malfunction and sends them to a distant galaxy. The ship's computer automatically seeks out the nearest habitable planet and sets a course, awakening the passengers upon reaching the planet. However, they are horrified to discover the trip took decades to complete -- they have been asleep for nearly eighty years, when the original trip was supposed to take less then five.

Found: With no idea where they are and no possible way to contact home or get back, they have no choice but to land on the planet and brave the strange creatures and indigenous tribal peoples. As they grow and adapt to their new home, stories unfold and they learn to make the best of their situation.

They lost their old lives, but have found incredible new ones with wonders they never could have imagined, such as a form of magic mastered by the tribes, dragon-like creatures that soar the skies, and tiny mischievous faeries that are extremely curious about their new visitors.

There really is a lot of room, especially if you break it down into easily defined arcs. Like step one is basically it sucks to be us. Sounds like The 100 just less scary and the natives might be less dickish. (Not that grounders don't have every reason to be flaming twats.)
