Love found and lost

"I have that same problem with men" She finsihed eating a bit more before cleaning up her plate and returning. "I find it all so agravating and I understand comleatly what you mean." She shood quickly and meandered to the couch.

"Sorry for leaving you there. I've just had a hellacios day at the office. I need to relax on somthing softer than the stool. When you feel like it come and join me here." She pulled her legs up onto the couch in fron of her making herself comfortable there.

Craig finished his meal and looked at Melanie as she finished hers and cleaned up her plate. He watched her as she moved and saw the fluidness to it- she was in her element, she was in her home and there was none of the stiffness he had seen when she had been at his place of work. He listened as she complained about the men in her life and knew that he had found a friend in her, someone that he could share his thoughts with.

He watched her as she moved over the couch and sat there, getting comfortable. He saw the way that she drew her legs up in front of her and knew that there was no way that he could leave her sitting there alone. He knew that it would be rude if he did and he wanted to sit there next to her.

Without saying a word he moved from the stool and walked over the couch then sat down next to her, looking deep in her eyes. He leaned forward so that he was close enough to kiss her but moved back, knowing that it would be too soon. He picked up his glass of wine and said, "Thank you Melanie. Sharing this time with you is just what I need. I hope that I can do the same for you."

She smiled at his motions as she knew his motives. She wanted it too. She wanted to feel his kiss upon her lips but the time was all too soon.

"Thank you Melanie. Sharing this time with you is just what I need. I hope that I can do the same for you."

"I'm glad you decided to come over. It's been lonely lately. It's really nice to have company over."
