Love in the Hearse

Inspired by the recollection of Neil Young, back in the day, driving cross country in a hearse to head out on the road, and eventually headed towards LA to really invent the artist known as Neil Young.

Immortalized in several songs, especially Long May You Run.

Doesn't need to be that hearse. could be any old hearse. Even the brand new hearse shiny at the funeral home.

I just figure that having sex in the back of the hearse would have a certain life affirming quality.

Two fer, hot goth chick and her hearse. Could be a cool series, something supernatural maybe. She travels across the country in her ink black 60's Caddy hearse. Is she hunting ghosts, or monsters or both? Some romance with her clients. And with her targets.

Or a hot goth vampire chick.....damn it.

Old hearses have long been a favorite for hot rodders. So, there's no need to go goth with the characters unless that's your jam. This would be a fun idea for just a husband and wife traveling on the Hot Rod Power Tour. Especially if they have a particular interest in dogging/public sex. In every town they go to, they find a place to do it. Make car sex the emphasis, which is always a popular theme.

I'm thinking a modern day Witcher, black coffin with intricate silver trim full of monster fighting weapons. She hunts werewolves, vampires, demons, cryptids. Clients make contact through an obituary website using specific code phrases. Instead of working on my story I've been throwing ideas for this at the wall. That's what I got so far.
Not so much sex in the hearse like Sirhugs' idea.

The son of the mortuary owner (these tend to be family businesses) likes to sneak his dates into the back of the company hearse for their assignations. Opportunities are rife for puns on stiffs, coming and going, in the hole, etc.

True. But some ideas are just a curious setting where a story could take place. Things like this can jumpstart stalled stories by offering a new avenue that the writer hasn't thought of.
Not every post has to be a fully formed plan with characters, setting and plot. Sometimes all we need is a taste.
