I've been on that side of the fence a few too many times myself...but for some reason, I can't learn to not let my heart get hurt. Someday, maybe.....

The only way to keep from getting hurt is to shelter it completely and that isn't a life worth living. In opening our hearts to others, we also risk the hurt that may come with it.

I hope that someday you'll find the love with out any pain.

We all have to bare our own pain,hon...and I know I hurt along with those I care about when I see them hurt. It's all part of the love we share with those close to us.

You don't have to worry about any walls around my heart....evidently I'm not bright enough to build them.

Love is...remembering she's 27...every year!

I found that cartoon about a week before my 27th BD and I still have it hanging on my bedroom mirror. It's a family joke that I am still 27 and now have 2 daughters who are too! LOL My oldest grandson asked me a couple years ago how old I was and when I told him 27..he looked at me and said "WOW Gramma...my DAD'S Older than you are!!" ROTFLMAO

biggbear8 keep the faith deep inside you, when the opportunity of a door to love open don't be afraid to look inside.. yes there may be imposter of the the heart or vapors of an image that may not exist and they my be those who just want to add you to their list of broken hearts, but if you don't open the door how will you find that love that is right for you. so keep the faith and open the doors and she may not greet you in saran wrap, but a warm hello is always a good start.
