Erika was always wanted to settle down and have a family and have a loving husband. She had all that up until a year ago. She had a husband whom she loved and she had two boys, at times they could be rambunctious but she loved them nonetheless. Erika was a substitute school teacher and her husband worked for a law firm. They had a good marriage until things just began to fall apart. It was neither of their faults but, the connection simply wasn't there. The two got divorced which left Erika with the two boys in such a big house. Her ex-husband came by on the weekends to pick up the boys. He usually had the boys on weekends. Erika had been seeing this guy named Jason but he wasn't really her cup of tea. He was good for pleasure but other than that, he was like a door knob. Her ex-husband was seeing some blonde bimbo who Erika didn't particularly like. Her ex-husband respected that Erika had "moved on" so, Erika thought she'd do the same for her ex. The truth of the matter was that she never did get over her ex-husband. Even after their divorce, he knew her well and she liked to believe she knew her ex better than his latest bimbo.

When Erika heard the knock on the door, she knew her ex was here to pick up the boys. Erika was supposed to go out with Jason but he canceled which didn't surprise Erika. Erika was wearing her favorite pair of jeans and a buttoned down shirt that showed her curvy self. "Come in, the boys should be right down." She said. Even though she didn't like her ex's bimbo of choice right now, the two were still on good terms.

ooc: Loved this one. Last player left so looking to start again. Sample PM please

Alex was indeed there to pick up the boys for the weekend, though he had some things to attend to that day and was planning on dropping them off at the kids' grandparents place that afternoon and would come back late that night or the next morning to pick them up.

He stepped into the house as his ex-wife held the door open for him. Erika still looked amazing after all of this time and, honestly, looked even better than she did when he first had married her. She had kept in shape and showed off an amazing set of breasts along with a toned, curved body. Alex himself had also kept in great shape, knowing that he just felt better throughout the day as he worked.

"Thanks, Erika. You look great, by the way. Must be a big occasion coming up for you?"

His eyes were actually having a problem staying off of her, though with the boys running around upstairs, he would occasionally look up to see if they were coming down just yet.

"Just so you know, I plan on taking them over to the Grandparents for most of the day. I had some errands to run and will be picking them up late tonight."

"They're just finishing getting their stuff." She told her ex as she let him inside the house. "Can I get you a drink?" She asked. Her ex was now dating some blonde bimbo and Erika couldn't help but pass judgement. Even though she and Alex were divorced, she did want him to be happy. And the bimbo Heather...she just didn't cut it..not at all.

"No thanks. I figure I'll only be here long enough for the boys to get their act together, though that is sometimes longer than expected."

His new wife was much younger than him and, as Erika had pegged on several occasions prior, a bit of an airhead. Still, he had missed having the company and the sex between them was good....when he got it from her. She was often on trips across the country learning to be a photographer and it left him just as lonely as always.

"What do you have planned for the weekend?"

"Nothing much, actually. A dinner or two with some girlfriends but other than that enjoying the quiet. You know how the boys can be sometimes. Hard to get a moment's peace." Erika laughed. Their boys were the best things to ever come from their marriage but the boys were getting older and starting to become a handful.

"How have you been?"

"I've been just fine, though still find some far too quiet nights as Heather is off traveling again, studying abroad so to speak regarding her photography. I guess marrying a younger woman....at least one as young as she is, comes with some faults."

His words were true, though he did love her....but he had never erased Erika from his mind completely. The two were still friends, but they had simply gone different directions with what they wanted and thought it be best to split.

"A quiet dinner and evening certainly isn't a bad thing. It seems like you've got your mid-day pretty open, though. You want a little company? I could call up the grandparents and have them come pick them up and we could catch up since I usually am over here just long enough to pick them up."

"Sorry about Heather." Erika said to him. While she was divorced from Alex, she wanted him to be happy. At one point they had been in love and he had given her two wonderful boys. "If you want..we could order some Chinese and catch up, unless you're busy?" She suggested. While they were divorced, she did consider Alex a friend.

"We could certainly do that. I won't be busy until much later in the evening."

With that, he grabbed his cell phone to call up the grandparents, who were actually in the neighborhood and made the quick trip over to pick them up. The boys came running down the stairs and found out they were going there instead of with their dad, which actually perked them up since he had a tough time entertaining them sometimes.

"Be good guys for Grandma and Grandpa!"

The boys ran out the door, leaving him and Erika in the house alone as the car drove off.

"Well, I'd say order up the chinese and let's relax a bit."

Once the boys were gone, Erika picked up the phone and ordered some Chinese. She remembered Alex's favorite from when they were married. She went into the kitchen and opened some wine she just happened to have laying around.

She took a seat on the couch beside him. She knew he was married now, to some one much younger..probably sexier, but Erika couldn't help but notice how worked out her ex husband looked.
