This story is a "we have to talk" story.
Wife conned by a slick talker tells husband she wants to date other men.
Husband says no, but she says she is going to do it anyway. He explains the pitfalls, she is unmoved.
He leaves house and formulates a plan to stop her. He uses her mother, friends, doctor, pastor and others to ring the wife constantly harassing her with the reality of what she is trying to do.
Eventually she realises what she is doing but has a breakdown.
After her recovery they are reconciled.
